Does moving the cropping box not work? Check if you can move it on another device.

Try to make the square bigger first, don't mind if it goes to the corner just make it as big as possible and afterwards try to fit in the pfp you actually want and save it - sometimes it goes back to the corner for me after saving but ignore it then and don't double save ╮(￣▽￣)╭
