Ugh it's just gonna be like the other Chinese manhwa I've read.They're gonna have a abusive ML that's probably a mafia boss/CEO and even when the MC was abused and scared of the ML she's gonna start falling in love with him.I've literally only come across 6-8 Chinese manhwa with super good plot:'( ,that's right,I don't have a life so I spend my time reading manhwa.

I do agree with you with your view on most chinese manhua;
when it was adventure, martial art : story is so predictive that it feel so... demure, fast-paced, and the flow between each chapter are disjointed, the characters design are usually good tho.
when it was shoujo-romance : it's about family feud, dog-blood shedding/war, bossy ML that mostly are marshal or CEO, etc... it wrecked my faith towards a good family.
I do wonder, where the heck did the human (girls) right gone to in that story.
but... if it was Shounen-Ai/Danmei/yaoi... it became sufficiently good to read... ahahaha
and their novel version is more so... XD
But, if you insist on shoujo genre, then add mystery tag to your search
Chinese manhuas are pretty horrible even in the BL genre. Not every novel and manhua is a masterpiece like Mo Dao Zu Shi/Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation. Sure there are good ones our there (atleast more than the ones in Shoujo genre) but most of them are exactly like Shoujo manhua (the 'male' role character is a cruel possessive jerk while the 'female' role character is a damsel in distress whose opinions don't matter) There were a few decent stories in the Martial Arts genre, but they eventually end up ruining it too.
It seems you had your own share of 'horrible' experience in this regards.
And, that point is where we differ.. I love it when the ML has a streak of possessiveness, but not abusive and crazy-type of people.
So, most chinese BL novel I read has mystery and gaming element inside, so it will let me use my brain for its proper use, not just to be feed dog food all the time.
I love Earth is Online, Seizing Dreams, I wasn't born lucky, Card room, GHFOD, etc... hahaha
Back to romace-shoujo... actually the one titled: Rhapsody of Me and Her is one of my favorite, but alas the Manhua ruin the flow.
