Emperor and kayn are trash. Kayn based on the spoilers unless something else happens. Just no redeeming the emperor though, sorry!
Much of the important inner dialogue and information has been left out just as much as parts of the story that could have been shorter have been played up for little impact. I recommend reading the novel to better appreciate the story, but I’m sticking around in case translations for this will move along faster than the novel.
Something to change the way they see each other as romantic interests. The respect runs deep and it’s a wonderful friendship. They need to be reminded that he’s a man, she’s a woman, there could be something more.
