Herve: *Playing mind games, using his body*
Tarjel: Maybe I'll get my hands on Yuri and use him
Herve: ...
Herve: WHELP, GUESS YOU JUST FLIPPED THE BITCH SWITCH
Also, when Vardis cut through the covering like a badass with murder in his eyes, the look on Tarjel's face is the definition of "oh shit, oh shit, oh shit..."
And can we get a Hell, yeah for the LADIES?!? No damsels in distress, here! The brunette goes after her kidnapper with a sword, and the blonde takes out the other two attackers with arrows to the throat? F*ck, yeah!
I'm so happy to see this completed, even if I do feel it ended a little abruptly
* OMG, the way the artist draws Yi Yun's death glare at Feng Jinyao when Qin Yier is talking is hilarious
* Ch. 72 - You know, kinda like the Uncle. Wouldn't it be great if he was completely innocent and the schemer was his wife or an underling or someone else?
Ch. 73 - WELL, THERE GOES THAT THOUGHT
* Uncle Feng: Feng Jinyao is an idiot for trying to hook up with the Qin family! The He family is much more powerful!
Me: BUAHAHAHAHAHA!
* Finally, it's too bad that you can't post images in the comments, because while I was reading everyone gossiping about Yi Yun and He Lingwei possibly announcing their engagement, I just imagined Gretchen Weiners going "He's your cousin...". Not 100% accurate, I know, but that's what went through my head :)
So I read this when it only had 1 chapter and I... wasn't impressed? Like, it wasn't /bad/, but it wasn't /good/. But everyone in the comments were losing their minds over it, so I thought, "what the hell" and subscribed to it and...
Holy. Hell.
I got heart pains from the reunion between the Several Cat and the Musk Deer, ok? All through some 40-odd chapters, I'm like, "what about the Musk Deer? What happened to the Musk Deer?" And then he shows back up and gives me legitimate feels? And even though I *thought* I didn't care that much for the Black Lion, when *that* scene happened, I was over here like, "what about Black Lion? Are you seriously doing this to Black Lion?" And there was an honest, grown-up conversation, centered around the idea that sometimes love isn't enough. That's some heavy shit, man.
The whales? Can we give the poor Beluga Whale that kinda knew he was a substitute and his concerned friend their own story? Like, fuck the Grey Whale and his daddy-boyfriend, give me a love story with the other two belugas.
I loved the snakes and the bunnies, but I had such problems with the art. Like, why did they give the White Bunny such a pronounced ass? Why didn't he ever wear pants? Why did the uke-snake have plush, pink lips when nobody else does? Asking the real questions, here, people. I really want to see them again, though. Like, maybe they all share a burrow in the wild. Give me updates!
How sweet is it that the Several Cat just adopts every kid he comes across? Buffalo-kid about to be eaten by lionesses? Adopt. Abandoned White Lion-kid? Adopt. The adopted several-kids of your ex? Attempted adoption. No child is safe.
And what is with the age differences in all the relationships? Except for the snakes and the bunnies (whose ages are never mentioned) and the Water Buffalo and the Red Panda (who meet when they are both kids-so I guess they are around the same age), the author makes a real effort to point out that the semes are younger than the ukes. Maybe that should go in the tags? I dunno.
Blessed are you, person who uploaded 44 chapters in one night. You are doing the Lord's work. I need more. I need to know how the Water Buffalo and the Red Panda end up. Do they have a threesome with the Caracal? What happens? I need to know!
TL;DR: A story that I originally thought was pretty meh ends up giving me hella feels
I like Mikhail, but... (sigh)
I wanted him with Yoh.
Once he's grown into a proper dom semi hahaha
Yesss! I finally, I found my kindred spirits here! Yoh x Fei Long all the wayyyyyyyy
my heart stirred when sensei made those scene while Yoh there. gosh ╥﹏╥
