I just read the description and wtf are they talking about? Genderless MAN? Lmao. Clearly, someone doesn't know what genderless means. Did they mean gender nonconforming? ( ̄∇ ̄")
Still looks very interesting though, I wanna read it ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ノ~
there's a fashion style in japan called "genderless" fashion, where the individual can wear clothes from both male and female attire (Youtube has a good video about it, which is really interesting). But anyway, although, there is such fashion in Japan, I do think the story is leaning more towards the idea that @Flyta_Waring was talking about, which is the fact that the character is Androgynous
Hey, just wanted to butt in; the Japanese title literally uses the english word genderless (ジェンダーレス) so the translator probably didn't want to completely change the title like renta likes to do (as they're only here to translate not to market the series to a foreign audience). Also, the official english (as in, on the official cover of the book the english writing of the title) is "I am loved by a genderless man" (the first instance being chapter 1, page 1) which is another reason why the scanlation group decided not to change the title (since there aren't any hidden/double meanings to the title and it's technically not wrong).
Also on the second page of the first chapter the scanlation group already explained that by genderless the author was referring to the fact the guy looked androgynous (kind of like not bound to any gender). In Japan they use the term "genderless" to describe people who are androgynous or a style as @erosennin was referring to quite often (not like everywhere but it's not an unusual term either).
I get that especially in Western audiences where there's more awareness on LGBTQ+ topics that wording choice can be a little prickly for some, but this series wasn't written for a Western audience (these chapters being a fan translation and no licensed english version is available) and Japanese people seem fine with it so the author doesn't have a reason to change the title. Take the story and the cultural differences with a grain of salt I guess (If they do make an official english version I guarantee they're going to change it on the english version though)
Yokomichi and Karsuma were so cute and hot together at the same time, I can't even I also love it that Yokomichi wasn't forced to take the bottom role just bc he was an Omega - he clearly wasn't into that. And that Karsuma was definitely into being topped, even if he was versatile otherwhise. I think that they made an absolutely perfect pairing (▰˘◡˘▰)
Ahhh. Yea, that was bad. The pacing was too fast in many places, too many things censored or cut, and the time jumps... Like, it was done well enough to know what's going on, but at the same time, it was impossible to get fully immersed in the story.
Didn't help that uke gives off the vibe of someone who just gave up on life and went with seme's decisions bc he literally had nothing else left to do. I just hope he'll be happy with that mad-shit crazy guy ( ̄∇ ̄")
Question: Is it sad? Bc whenever I see Yuri & historical together, it's usually a recipe for depression. And I can't handle depressing things. So, could pls someone confirm if this is safe to read or will it leave me heartbroken? Thank you ⁄(⁄ ⁄·⁄ω⁄·⁄ ⁄)⁄
Don't worry the ending couldnt be cuter :3
Thank you!
Don't worry, it happens ^^
