whenever I find Chinese stuff, i seriously worry somehow...like what makes people there write stuff like this and desire to read stuff like this? haha what is going on :D Asian nations needs strong psychological associations and good reliable committed psychologists and psychiatrist...people need to let out all the trauma and pain their old fashioned and totally not human-friendly education still causes....I know this from my own heritage country turkey for example...people are still to prideful and have a weird idea about why this is important...it does not mean you are mentally fucked up and need to be locked away just because you see a professional person...no it means you are strong and responsible and go talk about your unsolved pains to someone who can unravel them for you and help you move on into a future with a healthy approach to life and your own self....might be to deep here...but this is like the 5th manga today that is full of hate, jealousy, abuse and misoginy and whatnot so I kinda feel weirded out

My,mind exactly
I fear it’s some vile propaganda to make young girl believe that enduring bullying or psychotic companions is going to be rewarded
But the revenge version with op characters is somewhat as scary : punishing « evil » even before the deed in alternate rebirth, can get really sickening
Healthy stuff is way to rare

Why would you consider all Asian countries to be mentally ill with all your talks about them needing psychiatrist or psychologists. For all we know, they (whoever created this manhwa) just wanted a story like this. What is a story without a core? That core being ‘revenge’ ‘justice’ and the like. Thats how the story gain readers. If you’re weirded at with how the story goes, then you can stop reading it. Asian people are the most humblest, kindest people I know. They would offer their homes to you even if they dont know you. Offer you free food if you’re hungry. Yes, their culture are more conservative and old fashion than the US but at least they have all respect they could give to others. Stories like this (while repetitive in their plots) doesnt need to be seen as Asian people needing professional help. Its just that. A STORY. No need to drag asian countries for creating a story for the sake of entertaining people

i did not say the nation is ill. i said that they need to actually have an association and not disregard the importance and value of peoples mental health....and i don't know how much you know about the market and economy, but the books and novels and movies and series that are popular and survive in the mass onslaught of new content in this day and age represent the "wants" of a majority of people....go read only german bestsellers, then go and read only american bestsellers and then go and read only japanese bestsellers....you will be able to see differences between all three and understand the people in that nation a little...and your reaction is exactly what i was referring to. you feel as though i was being rude and prejudiced, but i was not in the slightest. but that you perceives my comment like this shows how sensitive you are and how much you overthink and overly interpret your own insecurities and subjectivity onto someone else...do you know that your comment could also be seen as a person saying that every nation that has a strong psychological department is mentally ill? that people who go to psychologists and psychiatrists are all bad? that the science of psychology in itself that through trial and error brought so much to us humans, who finally started to appreciate the importance of human mind and behavior and the research of it, as wrong? or that any nation that has this view is not humble, not nice, not this that? this has nothing to do with your culture or social whatnot, but the fact that the suicide rates in japan and china are abnormal. the rate of child marriage. the rate of domestic abuse. the dark number when it comes to sexual crimes. even in europe and america we are still so so so far behind in developping a general understanding of this stuff, but asia is the one that is the most behind (russia too)....again, it says nothing about a person(nation) being good or bad. this is about neglecting a very important part of what makes us human. as a human to be happy you need to consider 7 aspects of your self. and one of that is your mental health. gosh this is not my native language so being a bit passionate in english is still fairly new to me, but anyway....suggesting this, is because i like asians ( i am of asian heritage myself as mentioned)....people who through all the things we still do wrong, are viewed as likable and kind and sweet or warm in general...imagine how far we could go if we also took care of our mental health all together? and learned about brain friendly learning? about pedagogy and how to raise a child in the best way. if we could help new parents understand how to be a parent (backed with scientific research)....if there would be work ethics that are more considerate of basic human rights and human needs and don't kill people? more understanding and help for women who are still in a very disadvantagoeus position in ALL ASIAN NATIONS.....as a women i cannot stand to live in a reality together with other women...where i am free and can do whatever i want and would win a trial against a boss who might have sexually harassed me and women who are abused and discriminated by men daily and even other women who were raised to think like that about their own gender...truly...your comment and view is very unfortunate and just supports my original comment a lot....

This is also proving my point that it is just a story. Like i dont see how a story meant for entertainment needs to be looked so deeply against the culture of their writers. Its a story where people can read because in reality, it will never happen. Its not about the race either or what ethnicity every one has. I see your point but you also dont see how i see what you wrote. People like different things and some of these people love these kind of story. Its cliche, repetitive but its an entertainment anyone wanted. Just like how korean dramas goes, or the telenovelas, or a tv series made in US. Every single one of those stories have a core in which cater what people wanted. ITS A STORY MEANT TO FULFILL PEOPLE’S ENTERTAINMENT. It doesnt necessarily correlate to how they, the people who created the story, acted, or their special needs if they have any. So with how you said ‘maybe they need psychologist’ make it sound like all the chinese stories, or rather the chinese men and women who created this story, are in need of help JUST BECAUSE THEY MADE THIS STORY. No. They made this kind of story because its about a reincarnated genre and THAT IS POPULAR. As the story goes, its just the same repetitive plot like all the reincarnated stories out there but its popular because of its tags and genres. Thats really about it. Its not about me attacking you or being sensitive about my insecurities but its about showing you that the way you may worded out how you want to say it is more worrisome to the asian culture that you apparently love to. A lot of asian people read in this website and they might take your word wrong and misunderstood you. So this is me just saying it

Your point about the mental issues, i have no problems with it. I suffered with it myself and live through the day and survived it. I understand that point. Really the only problem i had was when you said it is worrisome how they can create this kinds of story and connect it to them maybe checking in with a psychiatrist. Like no, they made this story for entertainment like every other story. It could be with how you say that English is not your first language and you worded it differently, idk. This story exist because it caters the popularity. Everyone is having a fun time or being entertained with how the characters work and sure there is dark stuff in here too (the fact the the FL had a very dark past) but its the catalyst to how this story started, to make readers want to read it more and see how FL leads her life. Who would want to watch/read a boring story? Even slice of life genre had some moments and problems for the characters to face so the readers/watchers can get hooked on the story itself.

nah. you misjudged what i meant though. i said i found 5 (only today), with the same plotline....the same genres and themes....since ancient times the people liked to see in the media things to mirror their own deepest issues in an exaggerated way to show them reality...like rome and juliet which is so famous and was influenced by italy...it was influenced by the reality of shakespear during that time....reality always inspires us humans to write. and i only find this kind of manga here. .turkey is more prone for drama series and there you also have the repetitive stuff always the same issues in different variations.....and i know how it connects to the actual real life....this has nothing to do with me being to serious aboout manga...the heck? no it is me understanding the actual meaning and value of media....there is even science for this you know....the topics in chinese manga and drama are almost always the same....and from chinese friends i know how they live thee and i can see the relationship between the two...i never said this is a fact. or a causal relationship or what....it seems to be a correlation somehow (suspected).....and i came to this opinion through actual experience in three other cultures and their media (uk and germany and turkey) and verbal exchange of experience of this kind in other nations (china, korea, us, japan)

Honestly I'm siding with you because it's true. I've seen countless of dramas, webtoons, mangas from Japan, Korea or China and it might be different from which country they come but they often portray the same plot. I remember when I watched The Story of Yanxi Palace, I was very passionated about it. The story was really deep and well structured. But then after this drama came out, I've seen countless of webtoon and games based of traditional china with one or even 10 plots exactly similar to The Story of Yanxi Palace one.
In my opinion, whether they were way too inspired by new trends (and by inspired I would say it goes near the plagiat but well) or they just likes this type of things.
But your opinion state a psychological view which I think can be undertandable. Every country portray what they want to (oops may I say politicians) and if so many chinese webtoon portray similars plots (may I say rape is a basic for chinese webtoon), then it might be related to China's education and way to interpret the world.
Like Chinese life isn't an easy one. They need to worlk a lot, deal with the fact that they are billionaires or poor. There is no medium state. So making those characters such a difficult life can be to reinforce the temperament of chinese people. And since they see life as hard, their character will be portrayed as having a hard life (even villain has such a hard life, this is impressive).
I'm french and when you see the best seller of all times which is The Little Prince, it portray a little boy pursuing his dream within his own world. Our education try to educate us in a way we will stay honest and true to ourselves. We will be able to talk about politics with friends and debate (argue) because we don't have the same idea but after the debate, everyone will come back as best friend. It is common for french to argue about something they don't feel right in their opinion (we have a past about successful rebellion after all. So if you look at TV in France, every drama and movie will portray main character who are big mouths and way too honest. They express anger when they are angry and they express annoys when they are annoyed.
So in a sence, your point is that each country will portray their education in their stories. Which in my opinion, is totally true. But it can be debated. Lol

yes. media is always exaggerated. in a sense that a lot of stuff is condensed into a product that has limited space....so they portray a lot in short time and thus it all is more intense than it might be in real life, but you can see through that, what actually might be going on in a nation. like i never was in japan, but i can tell how insanely they care for the opinion of others. like their whole life is about being a child that their parents wanted them to be, being a man or women the society wants you to be and doing everything that is expected of you. there is clearly a lot of stressing on hirarchy there, too. like how just because someone is a bit older than you they can demand respect, even if they themselves might not respect your boundaries and person as much. not to this extend, but this is also similar in turkey and apparently in china and korea as well. asien nations have more of a social focus than for example america or germany. they do care to a normal extend. but your whole life does not revolve around it. you are your own person here. if a teacher was being unfair, a student here can have an argument with them and it is normal. it should be. i was treated unfair by a teacher and argued with her and went to school ministery and won. the school got reprimanded for treating me in an unethical and illegal way. but in asia you won't to it cause it will be embarassing, to much attention will be put onto you...if people see your weaknesses, if they see you are not perfectly representing the ideals of society, than you are socially dead....so you have no value anymore...like the heck...or a man's value is still higher than a women's. like in manga or series (in any asian nation), the man is a total abusive dickhead, but he is handsome and has money so he gets like a little sweet and everyone is totally swooning over him and he is forgiven for every crime (actual crime) he is comitting. try that with an italian women and you will never be able to have sex again...stuff like this. you can just watch series or movies of various nations and compare them to your nations popular stuff and you will see what i mean. or do you want to tell me that series and movies that are produced and popular are actually not relatable? haha....it would not be sellable and popular like that and overproduced, if people could not relate.....only if they can get "into it", because "they resonate with the content", then a seriesis "good stuff", so peolpe want more....if you say there is no relation between this...no problem...you don't have to see it...there is nothing wrong with not wanting to think this deeply about stuff that is meant to "just entertain yourself in your free time"....anyway...this was an enjoyable talk dude...so interesting :)

internally dying.....omg...if i was her and knew this later, i would get pissed and then not talk to him again, because of overstimulation of my brain from all the chaotic thoughts and stuff that suddenly flopped like dominos putting stuff together i never imagined would ever connect in that way and be able to seen from that kind of perspective....oh god...that ass...so second hand embarrassed for both....for her as she does not know and talks so openly and for him for being like that like come on you creep!!! aaah

aha so it is all your fault huh you egocentric idiot lucas! you traumatized a kid and made him into an obsessed guy who wanted to be better than anyone and everyone so that he can proof you wrong one day. and he became that crooked weirdo black dude now because he learned black magic and became the strongest king and kinda managed to not die.....gosh...such petty crap....

I think you're mistaken. The black haired dude is Claude's brother, Anastacius. The kid that Lucas insulted is Aertenitas. I guess he's the emperor from long time ago and yes, I assumed after being insulted he worked really hard and became the strongest emperor. He's basically insulted upon meeting Lucas the first time, I'd definitely suffer from inferiority complex for the rest of my life after being insulted that harsh tbh

there is always a reason, why a character is being remembered. and no one ever said he is the kings bro. he just looks like it. and if i remember correctly, he said he made himself look like that. either he was the kings bro and his soul just reincarnated, he is using his body, or he is still aertenitas and he made himself look like claude. there is a connection between the kings bro and that old king that lucas insulted.....defo...

i am so goddamn sad somehow, that the blondie bro turns out to be a sly bastard....shit...i also am annoyed by the emperor, but dude....don't butt in like that....when all this stuff with klevis started, i had a weird feeling about him...i so do hope he is no weirdo...cause leanna also doe snot remember him....where did he come from? i hope he does not turn out to be a huge villain -.- being betrayed by your siblings feel like losing a limb

she is nice and all, but i cannot forgive her for abusing paul all the time. it is one thing to pat someone friendly on the back or stuff, but she is punching and flicking him in the face all the time....that might be "cutified", because she is a beautiful women...but it is actually abuse....no matter what you try to bring up, it won't change the fact, that she is abusing him physically and paul cannot think of even saying anything, because of her status and because of "the dignity of a knight"....cause complaining about a "tiny beautiful lady" punching you, would be to "shameful"....

if he dares to go all jerk on our baby, because he cannot handle his own feelings like an adult with adequate emotional intelligence and a common sense for responsibility, i will slice his super not convincible sized dick in half....

dude, i know. his feelings made him have a wet dream, like he said so himself. but guys who are prideful like him, could act out like this and go all asshole on a person that makes them think they are being "weakened" because they "feel feelings for them". it is no one elses responsibilit what a human feels or does not feel, thinks or does not think. but some immature low eq type people blame the person they have feelings for, for making them have feelings for them. as we saw how he treated our baby since the beginning, i would not be suprised if he acted like that towards him. and if he does, he his dead for me and i want a new mc for our baby who will cherish him from the get go and not play fucking games

It was just a fantasy (he says himself "wet dream")
And based on his conversation with his previous lover (the old elegant lady) and second night with Yiyoung, Director Kang seems to be serious about consent.
Actually, the way Yiyoung was very clearly portrayed as reluctant and sad seems to be how Director Kang's unconscious blames him for his past interactions with Yiyoung and his misrepresentation of him as a player (not that such people are wrong, only that Kang underestimated our cinnamon roll's nativity and sincerity)

1. Kill the modern era character by a truck-kun.
2. She wakes up in the body of the Otome Main Character.
3. First she is shocked, sees the similarities, writes them down and aces the whole shit as if she was trained her whole life just for this.
Bonus:
Sometimes you can make her reminice about her old life a little. To add drama, when she is at a bottom within the story and gain sympathy.

i dunno why, but in the beginning i was on, and then the more time passed i kinda i dunno...lost my connection to this story? and then i remember how we first saw that red dude appear and since then i kinda get annoyed, whenever i see this story.....it seems to me that there will be a lot of annoying frustration....i dunno man....i imagined something else, but until now the more i read, the colder i felt....even though the sex scenes look amazing, i felt cold....uwu....i dunno it saddens me, because the art is so great.
