Why? She told him that she wouldn't impede on his way of living. It's not as if she married him for love. Yes, she forced this marriage onto him, but she's keeping true to what she promised. As for why she let's him to treat her that way, it's probably due to her guilt. She knows she forced him to marry her and by dealing with his tantrum and his sexual urges whenever that might be her way of relieving her guilt for her actions. By no means is it justification for how Reagen's treats her, and I agree that she should stand up for herself when it comes to her wants and needs, especially when it comes to her body. As for being possessive, well she told him and herself that she wouldn't stop him from living the way he does, so it'd be in her best interest to let him do as he wants with his life.

That's why I only dislike Reagen because he's not doing this because that's what he's always been doing. Instead he does it to get a reaction out of her. I rather he do it cause he wanted to than do it to make Ingrid upset or jealous. My thing is, I really don't see where he lost out in this marriage (as much as I do agree that the reason they got married isn't okay).

Thank you, I wonder if these people are even reading this or are they just reading it to hate it. I mean if you're not used to playboys then I get it but the ml and fl made a deal, that she wouldn't try and affect his way of living if he would marry her.

What I mean is , I know she’s letting his actions slide bc she’s feeling guilty about forcing him into this mariage but , to this extent... come on.. I think it’s a bit too much... At any rate I really dislike Regan and pity our Fl so I’ll keep on reading this bc I want her to get what she deserve and be happy :( Regan is trash but maybe he’ll change in the middle of the story who knows ? (Through that doesn’t mean I’ll like him if that time comes bc he’s a dickhead.)

I wouldn't say they made a deal only because he wholly disagreed with it and she managed to get him to marry her despite all this. That's why i think a lot of people hate her, because she ignored his wishes for her own (which I understand why people dislike her for this). However, my biggest issue is that Reagen has literally lost nothing from their marriage. In fact he gains quite a bit from it. He's married a respectable woman beloved by the king and can still continue his promiscuous lifestyle while Ingrid settled the affairs at his estate. Literally nothing in his life has changed so drastically that warrants the hate for Ingrid outside of his own growing affections for her.

Despite how their marriage ended up happening, Reagen can still do what he wants. At this point he is just bitching and complaining about her because he starting to catch feelings for her and he don't know how to deal with them.
