this is so cute so far omg i love the artstyle a lot! seems nostalgic and new at the same time. not a huge fan of the ridiculous power imbalance in the society at all tho. not only does it transfer all autonomy to alphas, it treats omegas as nothing but birthing machines.
you have to applaud the author's dedication to teacher student relationships but in a way where there's no power imbalance or age gap. insane stuff.
i know that as fans, people would always want stories they like to continue on forever. it’s just the way people are. but i don’t think it was necessarily required here. slam dunk isn’t hanamichi’s entire basketball journey – it’s just his journey from playing basketball because someone he loved wanted him to, to playing basketball because he himself loved it.
isn’t it okay to conclude a story once that point has been reached? a story cannot go on forever. ending it whenever is what a creator is always allowed.
i read this for the first time back in 2018 and it scarred me so badly that to this Day i cannot reread it even though i remember loving the story lmao i was a sobbing mess

this manga right here was my very first bl manga and the one that i've reread the most times ever since. there's just nothing that gets to me as much as the dynamic of a seemingly stuck up guy falling gracelessly in love with someone who changes him for the better
