I have a theory that they might’ve given her the weapon so the fl could provoke her by talking to her mother. If her mother exposed the maid then the mother wouldn’t be the only one in grave danger, but the maid as well and her master. This also proves that the maid is heavily loyal to the mastermind cuz she stopped the mother right when she was about to say who it was, by confessing everything.
Well even if she had the weapon hidden I’m sure someone would be able to catch it quick if she made a move cuz the distance was far enough to notice it th second she moves
