I think alot of you think that the FL is stupid and silly with the ML is so manipulative....
What I see this webtoon is pretty cute.
The FL who is someone that not good with guilts and always think how her action can effect the character.. her charm are really how she is honest and think how the characters must have felt (like how she said the Duke is just an innocent boy and he is so messed up in the head because of his past) that's make her so desirable to the characters.
Don't you want a partner who is someone that gets you and know that you become your person now because the past... and they are willing to be with you even though you are a messed up piece of shit?
That's how I saw ML is.. he saw FL and like her because she, who knows his past, not judging how he is now. She knows how shity his personality because his past as a kid.
I also think his personality is pretty manipulative, his manipulation is blinded how she is so nice to him (as a duke) (even if she is drunk)
I think people will not let their partner go when the partner is so understanding and so nice...
So, FL looks stupid but she's really not that stupid... she just cannot deal with guilts and always think on somebody shoes (for ex. How she thinks the real heroine felt if she rejected her friend request).
ML is manipulative but just like jealousy BF that's wanting to not letting the FL go because he is afraid she will disappear
