I absolutely loved this but was reading this probably at 5 in the morning whatever and i’m not sure if it was the lack of brain cells or just me but this was a little confusing can someone explain it?!? So is porn portrayed as something that is the unproper path in this story or is that just me? Also their fight was just way confusing. Was there a “right” side to this what even happened during the fight and all. what did they even do to solve their fight.
idk about the 'unproper path' part but as for their fight: both of them did something wrong. ed blamed mcqueen for everything even though he was the one who applied for porn in the first place, ed snapped and just started blaming mcqueen on how much he regrets being on porn. ed disregarded that mcqueen is also a victim in the situation, ed forgot that he wasn't the only one hurting.
as for mcqueen, ed was sadly right about asking mcqueen about "how far would u go for porn/money" or something like that, because mcqueen did produce a porn movie (Perfection) romanticizing a rapist, it affected ryan in the worst way too. so that was a VERY BAD move for mcqueen.
as for how they made up, mcqueen was the first one to reach out (which makes sense since what he did was worse) and they talked, mcqueen admitted he was selfish, he apologized and he explained why he produced Perfection. Mcqueen also talked to Ryan and they're good now too. Mcqueen gave ed all the money he got from the porn movie he made with him. in the end it all worked out.
