In the raws, the fl thinks the ml is having an affair with the secretary. The secretary goes to his home to return his jacket another day and "trips" and it looks like they're hugging and she runs off. She then tells ml she wants a divorce and that she's going to abort their baby. Keep in mind, she's not doing it to be malicious. She doesn't want to have a baby without giving it a complete home. The secretary's "bf"? takes her to the fl and makes her tell the truth, that their was nothing going on. She goes to apologise to the ml instead of the abortion.

That’s so dumb. Imo, this story has really gone downhill. It’s like after FL fell in love, she became completely inept. She falls for tricks so much more easily and seems to have no self awareness. I’m so disappointed because I actually really liked FL’s character in the beginning but at this point, I’m only reading because I’m too far in.
To be fair, the things she saw did look suspicious. It seems like they're going to shorten the manhua because the novel was a lot worst imo. She was extremely likable in the beginning, then her character took a 180. I would have dropped it ages ago if I didn't read the novel

Based on the raws from the link, it seems like the series will end pretty soon. The last chapter (345) was a 5 year time skip and what looks like a teaser for Jason’s story, if the author decides to make one. I think there was an author’s note too. I might be remembering wrong though.
This is the FIRST harlequin story I have read where the ml is completely likeable. No faults at all. He's not trash. And the fl, although she seemed like a people pleaser, she does have a back bone. Completely worth reading
