Some people just feel guilt ? If you can’t seem to empathize, that doesn’t mean others wont. No ones telling you to get off this site; we all use it for our own reasons. And that’s not to say every author doesn’t deserve support. It’s just given this authors current situation and mental health, people are trying to put in some extra effort to support legally (since there’s a literal free way to do it) and are encouraging others to do the same, that’s it. After all, we’re all fans of this story she created. It’s about trying to support as much as possible, not completely. As illegal readers we have to acknowledge we’re wrong at least.
