.... Undercover Cops sometimes have to compromise their own morals to build a case..... Why do you think some undercover Cops have addictions..... It depends on the level and case... Not sure how realistic this is, or in realistic. And definitely not saying this can happen. Only undercover people actually know the extent they have to go through.
Thankfully this is fiction
The more I learn about the prince dude from her past, the more I hope he gets karma
So, the MC does change her mindset. Right now it's just the story of how they pushed someone with a kind heart into the depths of sorrow. She is the embodiment of pure love, so she loved without restraint and forgave. She wanted to believe even if she was hurt repeatedly. She believed that she was happy and would be loved.
The next chapters show that she loses that light. They destroyed that part of her. She doesn't become their pawn anymore.
This needs a warning for art style shift. Nothing wrong with the two, but it hurts my brain and ruins the vibe. One has more of a "shojo(sp)" style and the other was more webtoon
So, I noticed this... Alot of people are confusing Stockholm syndrome(ss) and trauma Bonding(tb)..
What's basically happening isn't SS but TB. The MC is aware of the abuse and manipulation, but the "softness" during the calm is what he's latching into. It's a survival instinct, but also a way to keep himself in control, even if it's an illusion. He realized actually a specific way will keep him "loved'.
While SS occurs more short term hostage situations, and unexpectedly happens. TB is more gradual ... Basically"training " them to bond with their abuser.
Damn listening to music and the beat dropped... "Love Is A bitch" by two feet

So, MC wasn't rejected, the type of love he was offering rejected. He wants basically "Total Power Exchange" over the MC.
Total Power Exchange is a BDSM term, but don't think this is what I'm saying or what it is. It's just easier to explain what ML wants from. The MC. This is forced power exchange.
He hated the MC for so long, that his hatred turned into a twisted version of love and Black/Red flag traits. ML wants to be the reason for the ML's joy, fear, pain, hate, everything. He wants the ML to belong souly to him and no one else. Remember Love and Hatred are of the same coin.
Basically that's what he wants from the MC, that's why MC was rejected.
Whoa this gives a new look on "Daddy" types. My heart is jumping
I was hoping it ended in revenge... Why do I do this to myself
Ugh, I understand the struggles of midterms. I got my game confiscated cause of a poor midterm grade. My finals are important... And I'm a university student
I don't know how to feel about them mentioning Pavlov like the fact that I know the experiments of classical conditioning thanks to him...
You all forgot what was said when teach met the guy....
