Clause is Athy’s dad therefore making Jeanette, Claude’s sister……please correct me if I’m reading this wrong LOLOL

Your close!Jeanette is Anthy's cousin. Claude's brother had sex with Claude's fiancee which then had Jeanette in secret. Claude killed his brother for sleeping with his fiance. Later on in the original story Jeanette goes to Claude thinking shes his real daughter but Claude knows(because they never slept together) that shes not his child and raises her as his own despite that.

That pacing just threw me off. In the span of two chapters, the brother drugged him then got hauled off by the police for an entirely different incident. Then we got run away seme and mysterious mother who adds no real explanation to the plot. I can’t even tell if that crib at the end was supposed to be a time skip or not (￣∇￣")
