I just postet the literal translation. Frieden is definitly peace and richter is because of the -er indicator a person = judge. But in a less literal sense, your proposition sounds solid :)

the gate must be something you need an exact location for rather than just random teleporting so they might miss their comrades who do not have the power to fight devils.
