Why was the author so overly aggressive? They don't have to be polite or anything but geez. They kept threatening the uploader (who only put up 2 chapters) even after they agreed to take it down. Based on their actions you'd think that person uploaded their nudes or something.
I've seen a shocking amount of Korean authors lose it over a single English chapter, then do nothing when their entire work is spreading like wildfire on Korean pirate sites.
I mean, do you guys normally continue to threaten and insult a person who has admitted their wrongdoing and told you they will do what you ask to compensate? I'm not saying they can't get upset, but that's just overkill. Especially in a professional environment. Imagine if when you got pulled over for speeding or running a red light the police officer started screaming at you. All that does is escalate the situation.
I'm not here to debate what moral grounds piracy stands on, just don't think that was a very good way to handle the situation.
The uploader didn't even say sorry. And the "I guess" is kinda rude. So on that ground I think the author is entitled to be mad. Not only that, your argument is flawed.
A police officer has so much authority and has been briefed how they should treat an offender (although it doesn't stop police brutality).
This author? She is more like a store owner and we, as illegal reader, is stealing from her likelihood. So the correct metaphor is:
You as a store owner caught someone stealing from your store, would you just let it go and be professional in front of them? No right?
The world is bigger than Korea. So if the international readers are killing the industry, of course you’d go to the source. The Korean websites are only for Koreans or people who understand Korean. This website can reach America, Mexico, Brazil, London, Africa, and Japan. Don’t you think that’s greater than the population of Korea?
Am I crazy or does the math not add up here? He said the emperor didn't get his reign legit, but how would he have done the ceremony even with a fake ring? The previous emperor would still have to hand it to him in front of witnesses. Continuing on from that, Oscar looks to be the same age as Ceasar, so are they implying the previous emperor secretly handed the ring to a toddler and then did a fake ceremony for the current emperor? Even if we say all that doesn't matter, why would they believe this nonsense over just assuming they stole the ring and beheading them on the spot?
The author randomly just pulled this out to extend a story cause its popular. We've never heard of this ring and what importance is it anyways? Still civil wars for petty things happens in the real world and I wouldn't be surprised that to protect oscar the previous king hid his much younger child... or the mother of child stole it
I'm so done with love triangles man. Literally nothing good about them. Either you're annoyed that some dude is getting in the way or you're pissed he didn't win. This is doubly bad because it's a corpse coming back to ruin an unrelated person's life for their own sake. Too bad Hades didn't kill him so they can go to the afterworld together.
I don't see the problem with Ludis. She doesn't run or hide. She gets shit done. Just because she doesn't go around cursing everybody within her field of vision doesn't mean she's weak. And yeah she was afraid here and there but she still does what has to be done.
Yeah I will sit here and defend Ludis all day. I have seen terrible weak FLs. Ludis is not one. She dosn't cry or whine or sit around and mope all day she gets the shit she needs to get done as fast as she can. Just because she is wary of the god and demure when speaking people peg her as a terrible fl. She isn't particularly strong but she isn't a fumbling naive idiot. She is pretty effective for what her goals are. People just want to see blood spill and have her go wild with the god.
