I think he's crying more because he's accepting it. Honestly, there's a part of me that has a feeling that he wanted so badly for his dad to want to stay purely cause their family but knew this would happen when he burnt the money (slay btw, but I wish he gave it to me >:/ ). I'm hoping that the ending of this is him finally moving on from the ties he has to his family because he has a great unit now and I hope he gets to be happy cause his blood sucks butt.

I really like this spin off! I like the diversion of usual abo tropes and the fact that the uke is stronger than the seme is actually really funny. The comedic elements in this one are...honestly really good, I loved them. I really hope there's gonna be a volume two of this one cause I like the dynamic, their interactions with students and the way they resolved the issue with the aunt. I like redemption but I hate how every person makes up with someone who really really hurt them and in this case, his mom (aunt) hurt him in such a deep way that I think the conversation and how the seme tells the uke that one sided reconciliation means nothing if one is just doing it to make everyone happy. It really blew away my expectations of how that would end.
I'd be fine if we stopped right here, I'm actually content with how the family has grown, learned and changed by having each other. I've seen a lot of manga deteriorate by having this many volumes but even if they weren't necessary, the volumes after the couple got together make me so happy. I love their family dynamic and even though I was put off by the fight, I loved the after conversations they had and their reconciliation. I think I'd love to end off the main couple's story here.
THAT BEING SAID I WANT A SPIN OFF OF THE KIDS OR SOMETHIN CAUSE I'D LOVE TO SEE HOW THEY GROW UP, like seeing the eldest as an adult and how she's grown from knowing who her real parent is and how that shapes her as an adult would be SOOO interesting or seeing the lives of her little brothers or literally any other kids they may have like GIVE ME SOME MORE WITH A SPIN OFF PUH LEASE

Sorry that I hate reading rape so constantly when I'm just trying to enjoy a good story, cause that's so awful and sharing that it made me uncomfortable is gonna ruin your good time. We've consistently had this problem in the genre and we're literally moving no where cause a bunch of people go "it's just fiction" keep consuming that same TIRED trope and authors will keep using it with absolutely no thought given on why they're using it and most of the time, it's just a dumb plot device that's unneeded.
