I literally hate when they do this. Childfree people are pretty ignored and it was kinda nice having a abo about a couple who is childfree. It sucks that again, babies are prioritized over what the characters originally wanted :|
It would be nice if they DECIDED they wanted to have kids instead of the vasectomy reversing without their knowledge.
But we need some kind of drama. This story has no bad guys, no miscommunication, no real obstacles between them etc.
I mean...do we? They're already dealing with a conflict of the family involvement. And discussing childbirth because one of them decides that maybe they actually DO want kids would be an obstacle and create some tension possibly because they arent sure how to bring it up. This conflict we have currently is two people who have absolutely no control over if they are already about to have a kid now. Abortions exist but being pregnant when neither of you wanted or decided on it is so common in these and childfree people don't have a ton of representation where they say "I don't want kids" and the author actually...follows through cause having kids is like the "natural" progression of a romance.

In general, I loved this manga for YEARS, and it's half due to it being one of the only omegaverse I'd read at the time with healthy communication, but it's definitely got a lot of flaws.
BIGGEST gripe is that we start off with one of them being in HS while the other is an adult who works in said HS, when I was younger I looked past it but it's a major issue. He's eventually is out of hs, but they get together whilst he's in hs (If I remember correctly and with my reread of the chapter), the adult jerks off to said high schooler and honestly, it easily could have been a guy in college since he ends up going to college afterwards, they could've postponed their meeting. At this point, its just framing itself as pedophilic.
Second major flag is that their second child was conceived in what COULD be framed as SA. I had not read the first extra in a long time but going back, it became clear that the seme slightly forces the uke to have sex without a condom on because he wants a child. And honestly, I can't even look past it because of the entire arc of the uke. The uke was raped in high school and was forced to get pregnant and has trauma around the SA that lead up to him having his first child, so I'm not really sure how the author didn't catch that it might be a bad look to have the seme turn around and basically due the same thing, just less blatantly.
Yes, in the end, they both wanted kids but when your partner is saying "we shouldn't" and "we need a condom" that's a no. And not listening to that because you want kids is noncon.
I ended up loving the progression of this manga, and it sustained my interest up until this year when I reread it and started to notice these issues and it left a bad taste in my mouth. I can't fully see myself enjoying the whole story how I had years ago with these things in mind. That's just my outlook. So this is probably where I'll have to drop it :c
And yes, I have a right to complain about it, cause it's something that bothers me. I'm moving on but these are things people might wanna be aware of before they read, and whether they read or not, it's always better to have the warnings before you jump in.
That's so real of you, I remember reading this and having no issue but now I see that a lot of things are wrong with this manhwa. First how they describe omegaverse and how alphas can't control themselves. Like you could have done better. 2nd THE MEETING one being a hs student and other 21 years old adult was not it. 3rd just like you said that was force on uke and him getting pregnant for the 2nd time kinda pissed me off cuz up until today you were having PTSD from the rape and now you're okay? YES! I really really love this manga, I don't hate it, I just really think it could've been better. I really cannot see the whole pregnancy in any other light rather than disingenuous, it completely erases the trauma because it's him. Something I mentioned to someone before about the relationships start is that if the seme was the adult and the uke was the one in hs, people may have had more issues with it and even more so if we changed the situation to being say, a high school girl and a janitor. Many like the premise and overlook the issue because of the twos roles, even saying "but he was 17-18 so it's okay!" like you wouldn't say this about anything else, I don't really care if it's fiction, IT'S WEIRD how we are okay with a possible STILL IN HS minor having sex and dating an adult??

That thing where we don't think about the nuance of a character past surface level content we see on the screen, read it again, BOTH of them were abused, he's not purposefully being a jerk, he's unintentionally harming her because of his own perspective of normality towards abuse and neglect that he grew up with in the household.

I already knew what would happen but by the time I regreted my choices, I only had two chapters left so I had to finish. I was in too deep SOBBING
