in my opinion, the guy definitely sounds like a creep. And even if he isn't intending it, if he makes you uncomfortable, 100% speak up about it to your mom. If they start dating it could continue and even get worse, better to settle it now if you can. Honestly, I always felt a bit pressured about having a partner, others made me feel like the weirdo for never having been in a relationship. I certainly don't think marriage is a requirement, in fact, I think it can ruin relationships quite a bit, being restricted like that can be really unhealthy. I wouldn't say I'm totally against it, but as I consider myself polyamorous, or at least open to a polyamorous relationship, the idea of binding myself to one person like that is a bit uncomf......   reply
