in my opinion, the guy definitely sounds like a creep. And even if he isn't intending it, if he makes you uncomfortable, 100% speak up about it to your mom. If they start dating it could continue and even get worse, better to settle it now if you can. Honestly, I always felt a bit pressured about having a partner, others made me feel like the weirdo for never having been in a relationship. My first instance of this was when I was barely 15 and just starting high school. I'm now 18 and just started college and sometimes still feel that pressure, it sucks, but you have to just realize that everyon...... reply
I certainly don't think marriage is a requirement, in fact, I think it can ruin relationships quite a bit, being restricted like that can be really unhealthy. I wouldn't say I'm totally against it, but as I consider myself polyamorous, or at least open to a polyamorous relationship, the idea of binding myself to one person like that is a bit uncomf...... reply
