Present day Hosik will be just fine at the end of the Story. Just had a difficult labor on second child.
It is past Hosik who tragically died. They kind of parallel the past and present story to show they had a past life together and they finally get their happy ending in the present. I think the reason they couldn’t be together in the past was because the seme had to produce an heir and of course was not allowed to be with a man.
