Okay, first of all, none of sol's friends call her somi ever. Furthermore,their pesonalities are completely different, whereas the mother is manipulative and uses methods to keep people around her, sol does the opposite and triees to push people away to protect them. the timelines also dont match up, we randomly cut for scene to scene in a way that would not be conducive to proper storytelling unless there are two parallel stories going on at the same time (which is the case). All of that added to the fact that for some reason characters that are central to sol's timeline aka her childhood and the red headed guy dissapear whenever we're following ''somi''. there was also the most obvious recent plot point of ryu sol's mother being that senile woman chasing sol. And lastly there was that one scene where somi talked about growing out her bangs and getting a bob which is the exact hairstyle that sol's mom has in the future. Is there naything else i should list? I get why you might be slightly annoyed to not have come to that conclusion yourself but i'm sure theres gonna be some other plot twist for you to figure out on your own.

The romance is well written tho,so does it matter that much?

I prefer the story to focus on the plot instead of romance

Honestly the romance is just an add on,the story is still focusing on the plot,like how they are showing the moms backstory

Maybe, can't say for sure yet rn. If they do romance I hope it's well incorporated and fits with the story. Knowing the mc I won't expect her to get into a relationship/fall in love anytime soon considering her past and psycho mom. I'm hoping for red head boy and mc to be platonic buddies
