The first chapters on this manga were all about how charmful, how strong and how he is able to commit the 'perfect murder'. At the end you see a old lady choke him with a pillow. How ridicilious but real.
And Bum, who most likely died, I have no comment for him. One of the best examples of Stockholm Syndrome.

Junji Ito, you are truly the god of horror. How come you came up with different, amazing ideas every chapter and improved your art style through the manga, I have no idea. Mad props to you. As someone who read all of your works, your work Tomie has a different spot for me. Tomie is such an icon.
