this is the weird manga where i care about the main characters, i personally have no love for them. I would even say hate them. Other than Ume and Asoda (and of course the lil children) I could not care less about the main characters (Rogi and Akitora) feelings. yakuza and all, there's a line you shouldn't cross for the people you care about. Of course it doesn't take a genius that this isn't a happy story and the title 'jealousy' is mostly about how the green monster can ruin everything and everyone is vulnerable of it. I like it these kind of stories (other than the stupid rape, but that's just a stupid trope in yaoi). I am interested in where this manga will go and where Reiko comes from and how she became the angel of Rogi's life and changing him for the better.

akasaki (tsubaki call him zaki, that is so fucking cute) might be played off as kinda the jokey character and is a piece of shit but I genuinely like him and would like him to play more and have more in depth character development

this manga is most probably not gonna end up with the gay pairings tbh. i see this more about acceptance (for others w/ different pov and yourself) and about the bittersweet of youth. A coming age story is what this is. Not getting the ending you want but still learning something important that you can take to your future. I want them to be happy but I need these children to accept themselves fist.
