Nora and Yukine has been through so much, can they get a break. please? like i don't want to have another heart attack over yukine's pain for the 10th time.
I get people's hesitance over Nora, it seems too easy for her to suddenly change and be a good girl but on the other hand, I can see how she can change that easily. She is a girl who was abandoned again and again, by father and Yato. Like even when Yato was still 'father's boy' he also treated Nora as a weapon, though that was really because father is an asshole and encourage that behavior really but it was still the truth. She gets jealous easily so the things she does isn't out of maliciousness, i feel, but more out of the instinct to protect her status and importance (to the gods that wields her and father). I really can't help but see her as a little girl. Here's Yukine strolling around and disrupting the status qou and stealing Yato and just becoming the best goddamn shinki there can ever be but he sees her as the girl she is. yeah it didnt start smoothly but yukine kept on trying to do good and see her as the girl she is that was why she took a change on Yukine. At least for those couple of days anyway. Fear and habits are hard to break so I can see why Nora ran away.
Sorry guys but I just have a lot of feelings about Nora. I really want her and Yukine to be friends and just have a happy afterlife.
Tbh I need it bc the story starts getting boring I never liked Nora from the beginning and the romance development feels out of place and I'm happy about yukine's background getting finally revealed, just my opinion.
I agree with you. Tbh I don't like the whole Nora is a good girl story line. I was really disappointed when the Manga came back after the long break. I am still disappointed. Yukine is my favourite and I just dislike Nora. The development really feels off.
So yeah sadly I can't thumb up mickie's post. I actually really don't agree of the whole Nora is a little girl and she's good now. Her personality is screwed, even if she was once a little nice girl before she died, she isn't anymore. She loves to make people suffer (jealousy is a trigger too of course), that's what she lives for, thats how she has always been depicted throughout the Manga. And now it changed suddenly? Nah. If that's really what happened then it's bad storytelling.
Though I understand that everyone has different tastes. :)
I understand that no one is going to agree with this ofc. I don't really see Nora as a 'good girl' now, she just stop agreeing to what Father and her other gods are making her to do and instead letting herself have a friend with Yukine.
I personally don't really see Nora as someone who loves seeing people suffer, most of the things she does is an order that people have given her. Yeah, she has that mean grin on her face everytime she does something awful but in my experience it's because it's the environment that she lives in. Adult do, children copy. Before everyone yells that Nora isn't really a kid, she kinda is. She died as a child and I don't think Father really ever allowed her to grow.
She did not suddenly change, she just allowed herself to have fun with yukine and that might trigger her to be good slowly but the fact that she disappear means there's she might still be doing bad things.
