Took me a few times reading this to really get all the sides. This is pretty much a summary up to chapter 7.
SPOILERS FROM HERE ON UP TO CHAPTER 7!!! This is really long lmao
So Souya, our main boi is technically an alien from a planet called Sirius that was then destroyed by beings called the dragon. He was picked up by two beings from the Nebula. Nebula is what I assume another living beings that's more advanced than Earth. They have been watching Earth for its development and are now divided to two, one is the "Seal" side that wants to seal earth itself because Earth can and will get dangerous in their opinion. The second side, which our hero's two guardians are from are the "Moderate" side. They seek to find the cause of the power and remove it with minimal interference to Earthling's live.
Souya for the longest time have amnesia but the moment "Nebula's soldiers" came out and the 7 human heroes, he was asked to do one thing by his guardians. Defeat the 7 heroes and get their source of power which is a vial of dragon's power (looks like dust to me but god knows what it is actually). This led to him getting his memory back and made him from an apathetic loner to a fucking angry boi that wants to eat meat and get his revenge on the dragon.
So that's a quick summary, from now on it's just me rambling so sorry. I personally hope that Souya see it from the human side too. I don't really like the Nebula at all because they are merely going to the assumption that humans are going to be all destructive to every living being. Which I agree with !!!!!! but at the same time, by either going to kill all of us or playing the assassin and moving things around in the shadow are also pretty shitty of them. Humans aren't pets for aliens to take care of and babies.
Souya are also to caught up in his revenge that he's pretty much doing the same thing to what the dragon did to his planet. By not giving the humans choice, its pretty much destruction to the humanity later on. It gets me real frustrated because it looks like the heroes doesn't even know shit about the dragon power. I dunno much about the president but I'm assuming he's being manipulated by his assistant. Ms. Shiraishi looks like shadowy figure on Chapter 6 page 21.
I dunno, I really likes this author other works so hopefully this gets better and gets the recognition it deserves.
I guess Kai has something of a savior complex?? He keeps doing shit for his "friends" thinking that they can't do shit without him and forgiving them again and again after being betrayed.
It's sad and fucked up at the same time because the second Kei left him, I feel like it reinforces his belief. Kei had the guts to do what he needs to do without Kai but maybe it made Kair more:
1. interested
2. guilty/failure helping Kei
oof i love pain and suffering and my faves getting hurt
