
Heroine is annoying. She didn't really do anything bad, but I find her annoying. They both literally have no chemistry.

Obviously bc she didnt remember anything thats why they have no chemistry. If i was her i would also react like her. Imagine being torture as a maid and out of no where some dude kill a person infront of you and dragged you to a castle and give you good treatment w/o knowing whats going on and then your blood got sucked out by that very person and your only friend got punished like that. Anyone would have bad chemistry with him. But now that they finally show their backstory lets hope for the best

For anyone who read the novel, when does he get to know about her abusive past?

I've read up to 100+ and he doesn't really know about the abuse, but is aware of Maxi not loving herself. I haven't been reading lately so idk if he learns in any specific chapter. However, Maxi slowly shows more signs of her low-self esteem during several interactions and Riftan becomes skeptical on why she's been acting this way. It's a slow progress and its more focused on Maxi becoming to love herself
