Even in thr previous timeline, the crown prince didn't really like the bitch sister.
After their first encounter, the protagonist thinks about how he probably got married with the sister for political reasons in the first life.
My theory is: the prince didn't want to get married to a brat with an awful reputation who bullied her sister (even though she was manipulated to do so), but still wants to have a connection with the Ducal house. The Duke favours the illegitimate daughter and didn't care about Claudia, and the brother despises her for being a spoiled mean girl, so they probably had already decided to kick her to a monastery, specially since she was just a candidate and not a fiance. The prince just acted accordingly: if he gets married to the sister, he gets the support from the Duke (specially since the sister is the favourite daughter) and a beautiful love story to show to high society. The sister is smart enough to raise her status and "defeat" the legitimate daughter, so it's not like she is a bad option to the prince. It's a win win situation for him, even without love.
And guys let's not forget that the mc in the previous life was a bitch who bullied her sister. Maybe she was goaded to do that by others but she still did it. She was spoilt, noisy and rude.
Yeah i know. Still the prince is sucks as human being. He knows the truth behind the farce that Ferment name did, he just thought claudia is too stupid to fall for the tricks. When Claudia changed and become better of herself, suddenly the prince yearned for her? If we put Raul and Prince beside each other, Raul would be the first person who would genuinely love Claudia. The prince wants perfect ideal type while Raul wants someone he can share with emotionally.
Well I dont agree with you. I still dont know why you think the prince knew who was abused and manipulated in the 1st life? He was a Stanger. He only saw what was shown to him. And that was MC being a bitch. He didnt have special powers of telepathy or special interest in her to pay attention and be her hero who saves her. Why should he? In the 2nd life he got involved with her, she was a good person and he fell for her. Whats wrong in that?
Even in real life, just because a random person is suffering , am I obligated to go and save them? Why should I? Especially when they are not even asking me for help?
Like if someone if bullying a person and is causing misery to everyone around them with their violent outbursts, most people's instincts is to stay cleer of them and think of them as a troublemaker. Do you think the person getting bullied or the people being affected are in a mind space to think of the circumstances that may have caused the person to be a bad person?
The prince was directly getting affected by the mc's actions in the 1st life. Her behaviour was causing him to lose not only his reputation but also his succession. So he naturally made a decision that was good for him.
Also just because she is MC does not mean she didnt do anything wrong. She was manipulates maybe, but she did by her own violition commit those horrendous acts.
This story is not like the others where the MC is framed for something she didn't do.
She definitely did those things by her own. So she did deserve her end on the 1st life. But she was wronged by people around her , that is why she got another chance to live as a better person
I don't know about others, but I think Juheon is completely justified in breaking it off with Dohu and being distrustful of him. I would be too. The problem was not him using him for material, but him not even properly apologising or telling him his true feelings. And no, the excuse of being bad at communicating doesn't excuse it because he is pretty good at communicating a lot of things, but he didnt even bother correcting the misunderstanding even when Juheon begged him to explain properly over and over.

Fl being jealous of the og ml and wanting steal og fl from him is diabolical lmao.
I would too, She’s way too gorgeous and adorable.
