I don't even care about Diana anymore. Like completely. To the extent that I don't even care about her downfall. And that's the author's fault. Her character was not well written. NO matter how self righteous and selfish she was, she still is the main fl of the story. You could have fleshed out her character better. Like how being stubborn in her thoughts led to her being close minded and unfair. But no , they just had to make her a selfish woman wanting both men to herself , all to make Hestia shine. There was a reason for both Helios and Kael to fall in love with her in the past. That reason was completely thrown under the bus to make Hestia look heavenly. Even though I like the overall outcome, it's still wrong.
I drew the line when Helios was genuinely trying to make their relationship work somehow, to protect and understand her despite 1) him starting to like Hestia and 2) every single mess Diana created... but she just went "whoops, should've chosen the other guy!" and start pursuing said other guy without even hiding it from her HUSBAND, who is also the CROWN PRINCE of a nation. Where's her dignity as crown princess from a couple of chapters back?
Although it looks like she chose the 'best' of the two for her, it doesn't seem like she liked Helios at all. Why would you try to destroy your relationship with your, again, HUSBAND as a CROWN PRINCESS instead of clinging to that position? I thought that position was what you wanted in the first place???

Helios is no better please. Infact i think I dislike him more than Diana . He is a selfish brat. I'm pretty sure he started liking Diana after he saw Kael liking her first. He is selfish af. Now that he sees Kael likes Hestia, he wants her too. Such a brat. Also compared to Diana who genuinely believed Kael went too far killing and destroying the villains, He actually knew the plan beforehand . Kael went to Helios and told him that he was planning on destroying them, not only because they attacked Diana but also because they were planning actions against the crown. He freaking knew. But he stayed quiet when Diana persecuted him. Just one word from him that Kael punished traitors and the situation would have ended amicably. But that selfish bastard ruined it. Also him liking Hestia when married to Diana is major red flag. Yeah he tried to 'make it work'. But come on, he loved Diana and married her all for him to throw it away so easily?? This man is ridiculous

Exactly except for her throwing tantrums and insulting Hestia like a B grade villain, she didn't really do much evil for me to hate her completely. She just like a narcissistic idealist to me. Hence my hatred for Helios.
Oh don't get me wrong, I was only talking from Diana's POV. I don't like Helios either, lol. But like what I meant was that: imagine you're Diana. You have a whole HUSBAND (that you say to love, too) at least trying to make things work for you two and to protect you... so let me just throw all of that away for another man? As a character, and one that was obsessed with status, it just doesn't make sense... is what I was trying to say. Bc the thread was about her.
As for Helios, boy that's an entire other conversation. He's a selfish brat indeed, and one that only really regretted his actions because everything started falling apart and he didn't know how to fix shit. After all, even in the past timeline, without Kael and Hestia everything fell apart anyway.

Actually... Diana is NOT the FL in THIS story. Hestia is now the FL in this story. Diana is the FL in the story that Hestia read in which Hestia transmigrated then regressed back into a story which is now her story. Everything we've read is from Hestia's pov. We can only assume that Diana was so in love with Helios that she chose him over Cael or we as readers can see it as Diana stringing Cael along and chose Helios because he was the better choice. I feel the author has given us just enough of a glimpse of the person Diana truly is for us readers to have a solid opinion about her. The fact that she turned away from helping the people and solely focused her gift towards the King, which cost her those healing powers. The fact that she so quickly discarded her so called love for Helios as soon as he didn't see things HER way. The fact that instead of trying to bridge the rift between herself and Helios, she instead turned her attention towards going against Hestia and taking Cael back from her. For me, Diana is totally a hatable character and Helios is a straight up fool. Ultimately, this is now Hestia's story. Diana is no longer worthy of being considered a FL. As a sidenote, I read this story up to know in one sitting so my memory is still fresh. That makes a difference also.

Yes I agree. Diana and Helios with their selfishness ruined so many people. Honestly they deserve all the hate they are getting. Although Helios is repenting in front of Hestia, I don't see him doing the same in front of Kael. I think him actually apologise to Kael from the bottom of his heart will make him a bit better.
As for Diana, yeah I don't think she is going to apologize ever.
We not only get a father slapping his son in the chapter but also the same father hugging his son.

He is just Crazy enough to be a tyrant and just Caring enough to be a wise ruler. Just my type. He is ruthless, unfair , crazy , funny, sweet , can recognise talent , bring people together and insanely strong. Ahhh so dreamy.
