So, I m super confused about game thing. Is the prime minister also real player or not? Also, all the knights are npcs right? I cannot comprehend this game thing.
As far as I understood, the only real human there are the "Kings", their dukes and vassals are all NPCs.
The games is like empire vs empire where they invade each other and rise in the rank.
The Kings must also get the affinity of their vassals and dukes because if they failed to do so their dukes can kill them then they will have to start from the beginning again.
Other story have smut in them but here, story in smut. I was really intrigued by this plot. The setting is really good. I wanna know what happens next but the smexy scene are getting too much for me. I mean the story has such a potential. Ughhh I mean I love good old sexy times but if the plot demands it good but only thing thats happening in this story is unrealistic sexs
Guys I think gansta is for brother. The scene they show of them kissing. I feel like gansta is in love with the brother but as the mc fall in love with him the brother knew and rejected the gansta guy. And the guy who is orginally fated partner of mc is some other guy who can see the thread too as we can see in flashbacks mc have.
Its a good read and a rollercoaster of emotions. Its unique and unexpected and revelations one after another is done in such a nice way.
Aeroc is a tricky character. You don't know to hate him or pity him. Sometimes, you will cry for his unending hardships and other time hate him for his horrendous crime. Well, the punishment was befitting the crime or even more so.
Kloff, I feel like he kinda instigated all these. Cause when they first met they both were attracted to each other. but he decided not to pursue it, deny it and go and find another similar looking Rapihel as replacement. He was clearly a replacement. Even though, Aeroc told him about his intention, he rejected him cause of his one reasons. I feel like Rapihel was caught between their fatal attraction you know. If only, Kloff was as resolve in this past life as he is in this life, maybe things will have been different.
But also, the lifetime of traumas and hardships clearly mellowed down Aeroc's haughtiness. Maybe thats why they can have friendly banters now. Anyway, I m not blaming Kloff for all these but there was no need to bring Raiphel in middle of all these.
Now, it is to see will he still behave lovable towards Aeroc after knowing full truth. afterall , he hated Him with passion for his whole pastlife.
"the punishment was befitting the crime or even more so." The only thing I heavily disagree with. The punishment was not befitting of the crime it was worse, nobody deserved that, nobody. He should've rotted in prison or given a death sentence that way he isn't pitied or given another chance, he's simply left to deal with his crime by burning in hell. Instead we are left to pity him for all that he went through. A pity so strong it overshadows what he did, a pity so strong even the gods gave him a second and third chance at life to right his wrong. A pity that allowed him to pove kloff once more and he's able to gain exactly what he wanted and the reason he committed the crime in the first place. (P.S. I'm not religious at all but in this world it seems gods are real beings)
I ment love instead of pove, smh. Anyway it's quite ironic kloff need to seek revenge and make the mc suffer, while temporarily achieved, only led to a reverse affect in the end. So in the end never truly got his revenge. On that note kloff is the only character i can't feel pity for like at all. I wish we got more in depth with his relationship with raphiel but all I got from his pov that he only used him not only for reputation but also because he was the perfect replacement for the mc so did he actually like raphiel? And going from the how he treats him in this current life who's to say that wasn't how he's always treated him? And was his need for revenge legit or just a way to obtain the mc? Anyway I so adore this manhwa and I might read the novel if I have time
Exactly.. the fact that Kloff never truly love love Raiphel , the way he just dismisses it when asked do you not love him. He answered not at all. It seems like rather than the death of raiphel in that way, he was mourning for the loss of his child(which he is clearly obsessed with -thats why forced Aeroc to gave birth 5 times) And also the fact that Aeroc, the guy he liked could do sth so horrendous . the revenge he was taking was much more than just for death of Raiphel. And I wanna read novel too but don't wanna go through all that agin so maybe will start from the vol 2 mid
So yeah .. what am I saying is the punishment was more than befitting like he got punished more than just for his crimes. And also, lately I am on this belief that "criminal should be punished the same way they did crime. so they can know the pain of their act". so, thats why I said that. And yeah, maybe the fact that he went through all those things and the experienced have teach him lots of things so maybe god gave them second chance. But yeah nth can justify Raiphel death. Thats why I m so happy he get to have good life with the person who actually love him in this life.
Also, yes sometimes you wanna root for Aeroc but then you remember the thing he did and you feel guilty rooting for him, pitying him. I mean I love this story, it just makes you doubt your own moral meter.
Weird moral compass you've got. How the heck was Kloff remotely responsible for anything that creep of an MC did? Giving mixed signals, flirting etc is not a crime. Even if he had gone so far as to have a few night stands with the MC while keeping his mate, still not a crime. It's akin to people having affairs and one night stands in real life. No sane court or human would even consider two-timing as a grievance sufficient enough to condone setting up a bounty on someone. Contracting people to harass and assault the domestic partner of someone you're into out of jealousy and obsession is stalker behaviour. Zero excuses for that shit.
What Kloff did subsequently in revenge would've been a crime in an ideal world. In an ideal world, where law and order akin to IRL existed. Then, he would've been guilty of taking the law in his own hands and vigilantism. But, this clearly isn't an ideal world or else, legal infrastructure would have shown up in the story post Raphiel's murder and MC would've been tried in court and punished as per law but police, law and order in this world seem to have become trapped in the same limbo that has trapped NPC guardians and siblings of shounen manga characters. So, I guess Batmanning your way through this area of law and justice wild west is fine given the context of the story.
I somehow toiled through the first arc hoping it would turn into a proper redemption and "criminal" rehabilitation story for the MC, where dude would actually accept his guilt for his crime instead of shifting the entire blame on the henchmen he hired, that he will regret what he did out of common sense and humanity and not just because the guy he is obsessed with hates him. Near the end of first arc, it seemed like since Kloff was satisfied with his revenge and looked ready to leave the guy be, that the story would eventually move into the MC understanding the gravity of his crime, apologizing to Kloff and trying to make peace with him. And ideally he would separate himself from Kloff and his family and leave them to begin their own path of healing while he went away and tried to build something with this own life and live as a good person. But then, that arc ended with letting the MC die a "tragic hero" death with his crazy obsession being romanticized and his victim does a complete face-heel turn and for no reason, goes crazy mourning the death of his biggest personal demon. Poor guy was subjected to the "romance" story deux ex machina of "you may have been the shittiest person I've ever known, I've hated you all this time for very good reasons but I love you now for no reason other than the fact that author has deemed you the MC and me the romantic lead or vice-versa in this badly written story". So, I was disappointed and tired of this story already at that point. And then I saw, there were several more chapters. I decided to spare myself another session of frustration and chose to jump ahead to see where they had taken the story. I have decided to ditch this trash story after seeing pages where it looks like that the story will proceed in the direction of forcing a romance between that MC and the same ML.
I think I might have replied to the wrong comment. This is in response to the OP of this thread, who argued that the MC is a tricky character to judge and that the ML should instead be seen as the "instigator" of everything that happened. Apparently, if you don't marry every random person you flirted with, and one crazy delusional person amongst them who is irritated about that, decides to retaliate by harassing people close to you, you are the one who is responsible for the crime.
okay but they never discussed the issue, they never talk about the main problem what? Where is the talk talk
