Yup! It’s to be or not to be~ Manhua is currently ch 61 here in mangago (btw it is ch 116 in the novel), the novel is around 143 now. It is a fast and good read~ really really light too- a good plot with awesome art~

Heaven Official's Blessings. The uke's hair here is actually quite the same with the uke's hair of HOB. PLUS. No toxic seme like this. The seme there is a loving, demon king who simps so badly for his trash collector slash fallen prince wifey. The uke's past was sooo fcking painful he was also a Prince who would do anything for his people. They both (seme and uke) went through so much. When the seme gained power, he loved and simped harder for his wifey. LMAO. Please take some time to read it! There's a donghua of it too if you wanna watch it. I heard there's gonna be a live action soon too!

I watched the animation series because the visuals caught my eyes, I like it but there is an obvious omission of romantic scenes.. and the time skips and recalls were confusing (during the kidnapping of the brides to be). is the manhua for heaven’s official blessing better than the animation?

actually bc of the censorship issues in China, both the donghuas had to be censored. imo the novels are the best ofc but HOB's manhua is def worth the read. the visuals are insane
But everything they said are spot on.
This is a very rare great novel, it’s not limited to BL. The novel has depth, it has politics more than romance. But when the romantic scenes enter the chapters, they were placed strategically and were pleasing because it lightened the read before the politics got too heavy. And the SMUT, wait for the fluff, romantic, sexy smut, well worth the wait. Wang Ye Jing Shao really did comply to his promise of treasuring his Wang Fei Mu Hazhang, every step was so gentle and with consent but of course little Xiao Shao got its satisfaction.. Smut and romance really will suit, specially a woman’s satisfaction but the politics of it highlighting Wang Ye’s intelligence was still, for me, was the highlight of the story. Ahh so satisfying!!!
I will drop this and may skip to when they are adults.
I was so excited with Ch.0 that it disappoints me that it was already ch 19 and there is no sign of the plot moving forward; or the summary definition or ch 0.
