BITCH PLEASE, THIS IS STOCKHOLM SÍNDROME NOT LOVE(〜 ̄△ ̄)〜

    LallaLa February 25, 2016 12:22 am

right? I can't see any love at all!

    Mymy May 16, 2016 5:41 pm

Hmm... actually Stockholm Syndrome is a bit like love between a woman and her abusive husband, you can claim it isn't love but the victim doesn't see it that way. It is twisted and unhealthy and usually it is a victims way of defending themselves.

This is a Lima and Stockholm Syndrome, first the kidnapper shows sympathy for the hostage (Lima Syndrome), then the hostage shows sympathy for the kidnapper (Stockholm Syndrome), these two have the fear for the second kidnapper in common.

I do not understand such "love", like going back to your abusive husband. My sister had a boyfriend once who were a psycho, he abused her in private but were the "good" guy i public, my sister kept going back to him, I watch her cut herself in the arm. The worst part is you can't do anything because she "loves" him, you can just watch and wait for her to reach out, she finally did reach out, but she still seeks out guys who "needs" her, but at least she found someone who isn't abusive.

I might be wierd reading a manga like this, but I kinda like it, though i hate it.

but stockholm syndrome is a form of love. what makes it different is how they fall in love. a bit fucked up, but it isnt fair to judge them just bec they met in an unusual environment.

    Ely14 May 21, 2016 7:29 pm

Stockholm syndrome is not love it's a mental illness like depression, schizophrenia ecc ecc...

    Sally Sparrow May 21, 2016 7:45 pm

Stockholm syndrome is not a form of love. Nor is it a mental illness. It's a coping mechanism that people often revert to in order to servive an extreme situation that has put them under harsh physical and mental stress due to an outside source or influence. It's not a chemical imbalance like depression or schizophrenia, it's more like a way to revert into yourself and tell yourself everything is okay (maybe like some cases of multiple personality). It's also not like being in a abusive relationship. Those usually start off as health relationships, not with someone abusing their significant other until they fall in "love".

I didn't mean to say that Stockholm Syndrom is the same as an abussive relationship, just that the victims in both cases have similar feelings towards the offender, and that they usually will disagree with outsiders view of the relationship. I only know of victims from abussive relationships that is why i brought that up as an example, but all i wanted to say is that we can claim as much as we want and even agree to that this isn't love, but the victims they don't see it the same way, and it can be hard to make them see.

But a very nice explaination of Stockholm Syndrome, thank you!

Thank you for your explanation, I thought that it was a mental illness (⊙…⊙ )

Omg your comment made my day! XD it's so true!!!

Ely14 October 8, 2015 7:36 pm

The uke has Stoccolma syndrome and the seme is a rapist who loves uke's father.
The sex was senseless and the story pointless. What's this "happily ever after"!?

Ely14 September 15, 2015 6:09 pm

Two words: fucking cute (=・ω・=)(≧∀≦)

I can smell the scent of yandere in maki and that's a wonderful thing...yeah I'm totally looking forward for the next chapter ヾ(☆▽☆)

I understand the psychology of the manga but I can't and won't understand the cheating, if you cheat once you can be forgiven. I really was disappointed by chika, he was too permissive but I think in this world there are many people like that, personally I'm too proud and I don't tolerate the cheating....but if they are happy I don't care athat all ( ̄へ ̄)

    ScanUGH October 21, 2015 9:22 pm

I agree. I was really mad that they got back together. Specially now that Chikao is a total hotty. ⁄(⁄ ⁄·⁄ω⁄·⁄ ⁄)⁄ I think he learned his lesson because he saw Chikao wasn't chasing after him like he always did.(▰˘◡˘▰)

I didn't like it...I don't know why but I can't feel the love, only lust. And I really hate "the rape to prove the love"

The very issue here is... how old are iwaki and katou? Are they forever young?
BTW I loved this manga, is one of my favourites yaoi ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭ (=・ω・=)

    Fritti August 27, 2015 5:59 pm

    May they live forever!!

    Firebird September 12, 2015 4:53 am

In the chapter that introduces Shou, it is said that Katou is double Shou's age so Katou is 36. There really hasn't been much information about how much older Iwaki is to Katou but I've always thought it was somewhere between 4 to 8 years. In the chapter Love Tanker, it is said that Iwaki is way older than an actress in her 20s so I do think his age is in his early to mid- 40s. Hope that helps :-D

    Ely14 September 14, 2015 11:07 pm

Thanks bro, now is more clear :)

I just looked it up and Iwaki is 5 years older than Katou
