The thing is I'm so into my horror yaoi right now that I clicked this for the cover but man... I WAS NOT EXPECTING THIS?!?! I blame myself for not reading comments and blindly clicking "start read"

this makes me so frustrated!!!
I came back because I seen the cain episode and needed to know what's happening with my baby but I'm officially in a love and mostly hate relationship with this damn story!! like Cain is going through it, it's understandable he has a hard time talking about himself when he literally has past memories and gets told he's crazy by the people he's supposed to trust. ALSO I'm so frustrated that the other dude legit uses his trauma/bad past to gain sympathy or so the mc feels guilt and feels bad for treating him that way like... be fcking fr. I'm hating the stories trajectory rn but I'll stay for cain<3 (lol flew past chapters with blackmailed dudes past like "I ain't reading all that") like boohoo they always give a sob story ┑(￣Д ￣)┍

Does no one have patience or what?! I've never understood harassing the people who took time out of their life to translate for us. I have been using this website for years now and it disappoints me when some have the audacity to be rude to uploaders on here, like hello!? illegal readers by now should know that sometimes it takes years for things to be updated, like if you love a series enough, you should have the patience to wait however long it takes! Matter of fact I know most of them are young people, like we have so much time why complain? Personally I have saved or gone back to series that haven't been updated in years and still waited because they do get updated down the line, or maybe the author of said book only releases chapters yearly, I've seen this happen. And that's not an issue, if you really enjoy reading, you should be grateful to those you lent their time to bring it to you for free! I wanna say my thanks to Jia as I've been reading this book since the first upload was here, It's one of my favorites and I didn't mind the wait, I've seen people come and go from translating and uploading chapters, and it's hard to find those with good work that aren't parts of groups. These people work hard and we should really be grateful to them and have patience<3!

Like some I went away and stopped reading for quite awhile. But saw that the ending had been done and came to see what has happened since I've left. The story itself is well written in my opinion, how the relationship is seen and how it affected the characters personally to where it shapes their personalities. The authors note at the end explains that taku is the only stable person and inserts himself into the mess unknowingly. His view/words change throughout the story but he still knew in the end he couldn't change the outcome and just had to accept it. The quote on quote "step brothers" were bashed by family in their lives for their love. The way the family is portrayed was great! The struggles, the angst, and the acceptance! In the end if taku stayed in the relationship with our mc they would have broken up either way in my opinion. Even our mc knew this himself that's what he's been telling taku these last chapters of their relationship. I know taku will grow and blossom! :) on the other hand the brothers need each other. They are dependent on one another even if they themselves do not know. The I Love you scene always happens when that person is almost gone and you feel as though time is running out, and suddenly all these feelings surface that you kept putting behind/down. They were gonna leave one another but it suddenly burst open and came flowing out. Their relationship wasn't healthy and they realized that along the way and changed somewhat from what we can tell. I'm ngl I wept tears at the ending scenes T^T such a good read. (P.S a lot of people dropped in the middle or towards the beginning but never gave it a chance and read through it all then forming their opinions, I remember when it came out and how obsessed I was because of the authors fool story which is also GREAT BTW♡! But the chapters gave me angst and so did characters but sometimes those characters do grow up and change. Sometimes slowly, sometimes fast you never know, only the author decides. I think coming back to a story when its completed is a relieving thing to do! I see how it ends, if I agree or disagree, and if the story itself was good.) Waiting for a chapter to reveal what happens next is borderline hell!!! Lmao I'm done goodnightヾ(❀╹◡╹)ﾉ~
