Honestly half of you guys are going to have to come to terms with the fact that people can still find their relationship weird and enjoy the story. And yes, their relationship is pretty weird, in my opinion. Trying to cite technicalities and calling it not technically incest doesn’t make it less weird for those of us that think about it from a realistic lens. Not all of us can just switch off our view of the norm when reading a story. Some of you constantly undermine the bond between adopted children and family like it’s healthy. Just because people aren’t related by blood doesn’t mean they aren’t family. Adopted children are still family. Based on that view, those two are siblings. And authors writing stories like this is normal is not a healthy trend.
Also she looks identical to his dead sister so it is natural that people feel weird about it. They grew up two lifetimes as siblings. Imagine how weird it is when they get together and the other two brother (well Cabel for sure at least) are going to still see her as a sister who is dating their brother. So yes, the storyline is good and worth continuing to read but make no mistake: It. Is. Weird.

Legit it makes me sad that Jooin’s character isn’t written with a solid friendship in this story because a friend would have drop kicked Yahwi by now on behalf of Jooin. It’s also weird that he doesn’t have friends because he’s such a kind person.
But I have to remember that I went to uni in the States where no one gives a single shit whether you are gay so of course I don’t understand why college students would be so bored and petty as to make a big deal about a gay student.
My boy Dylan had the spirit but...this time, he just did not execute (no pun intended)
