Overall, the story was alright. It's highest point was definitely at the start with it going downhill the moment Toya started being an dick. It picked it back up at the very end but not to the point where it was at the start. Still, Saph's memes made ever end of the chapter worth it lmao. Thanks for translation as always and if you have a specific site or group that you post translations on, I'd definitely check it out (seriously if there's one please link) I hope I see all of you fellow sinners around
I usually hate when people guilt trip others, but these dudes actually deserve it. I'm glad she's subtly but confidently reminding them that they're all assholes. Not a single one of them has apologized, and for what we've been told she would have been killed if she didn't be submissive and eat moldy ass food- showing that they only care about her when she's playing the victim and not standing up for myself. Ikilies better be a top tier husbando because I'm so done with all the other guys here. As always, thanks for the translation, despite what I said I really enjoy the story and art!
I don't think I can vibe with these latest chapters. We finally get some story with the brother, the driving force of the plot, after nearly 150 chapters but only briefly. It keeps dragging useless conflicts on and ruining good characters like Jinge. I liked him because he was funny and friendly, but now the author tried to make him a rapist and he thought it was okay because Ningning (to him) isn't a girl? And Zong Jize refuses to accept boundaries, going as far as to track her down with a hidden tracker to know why she doesn't want to be with him every second of the day. And then makes HER out to be the one in the wrong when she was saying goodbye to a friend and refuses to clear up misunderstandings like a spoiled brat when he is literally stalking her. He's way too obsessed and can't comprehend why Ningning doesn't want to bang him no matter which gender she is. Even if she was a guy, she's constantly told him that she doesn't want to do anything. Pressuring someone else into sex or any sexual activities ain't hot, it's creepy. They've got such a good mystery story going on with the brother, but they ruin it with the badly written romance. Ningning is such a good lead and the concept is interesting, so I'm just sad that this is the direction the story's going.
I'm genuinely glad that she is tearing this man down- this writer makes me feel anger and passion that I've never felt towards fictional characters before. It's so refreshing to see the pride ripped away from this man. Melissa is also one of the best protagonists I've ever seen and I'd be happy for her whether or not she ends up with Nine or Yuri (or maybe both
