I'm done with this story. I get that an author needs some drama to keep a story interesting, but this endless back and forth has become too frustrating and ridiculous. Hyeonseon is sooooo lucky to have Yeoreum and he has been sabotaging it from the beginning. He's old, average, selfish, uncommunicative and at this point irritating. I'm over it.

I don't really think he's selfish or doing all ts for his own good. He feels guilty cus he's "dating" a guy 16yo younger than him. He feels like he's stealing his youth. Just try to put urself in his place, all the insecurities he's feeling about his age, and all the guilt he's feeling towards the guy he's forbidden from loving, try to feel it too.and yes it's frustrating to receive this treatment from the author but tbh, this is all logical cus our emotions can't be controlled and we often do such dumb mistakes and life cus we don't know how to solve our problems without realising, so I think how the author throws these drama at us is kinda valid.(no offence to ur opinion)

Time for me to drop this one. It's becoming obvious that it's pretty much impossible for Korean yaoi writers to write stories that don't include rape and/or sexual assault. These days readers don't even get a trigger warning. It happens, some readers say it's sexy or hot, it rarely has any impact on the characters or their relationship and we're all supposed to just accept it as inevitable.
Call me crazy, but I don't find rape or sexual assault to be sexy or entertaining in any way. And I'm sure the vast majority of people who have experienced it do not think it's sexy or hot. I liked Full Volume, but nothing about this story is on par with that one. I miss reading Korean yaoi webtoons, but guess all good things end because pretty much all the good ones except Our Sunny Days have ended.

Idk what it is, but these side stories aren't working for me. The main story was nearly perfect, but the side stories are missing the spark and strong writing of the main story. At this point if Carlyle doesn't end up pregnant or if Ash doesn't bottom at least once, the side stories will feel like a waste to me.

I don't think every reader is required to love every chap of a story. And saying you don't love something isn't snobbish IMO. I pay for the chapters on another site every single week, but it's disappointing to read the side stories. Ash using sex as a weapon of torture isn't appealing in any way for me.
But obviously some people disagree with my comment which is fine too.

Another Korean yaoi, another rape. At this point nothing surprises me less than when a new Korean yaoi starts with an innocent uke or Omega and it has a domineering seme or alpha who thinks "no", "please stop", "it hurts" plus endless sobbing means "fuck him harder".
I'm fully aware that there is an audience for stories with rape and sexual assault. But why must it also happen in stories that market themselves as sweet? Why have a title like "Cherry Cake" and a cover with pinks and flowers? Why can't we even get a trigger warning at the beginning of the chapter?
I don't think it's too much to ask for the read a story about 2 gay men set in Korea that doesn't normalize rape. But with each new Korean yaoi, it feels like an unrealistic expectation. Which is a shame. Obviously, I'm dropping this.
I'm gonna miss this story. It's so hard to find wholesome k stories with interesting characters these days. Now I have to wait for Our Sunny Days to return
SAME :(
