Is this a power of friendship kind of bullshit? Yes. Is it at times cringy? A bit. But this is probably one of the most wholesome found family type of story I read recently. Dandadan just beats it but it is up there for me.

I expected more from this author actually. The SA took me out of this series. It could have been better wiithout it tbh.
It’s been a while since I read something well written like this. I actually like how their relationship is developing and how Jin is not really easily swayed. I like Baek is quite complex. While he likes Jin, he knows he does not want anything casual with him. He tried guarding himself and rejecting him but he is now truly fallen for him.
Incan kinda understand why koutaka did not reach out. They were kids who are not yet emotionally mature so it must have been hard to break the ice after their fight. And they both waited for each other to do so. Usually that’s how even the best relationships break down during our teenage years. When we were young we grew up thinking that “we could always see them again next time” without actually considering the fact that after high school, most of us go separate ways with our friends to pursue other things.
I think it is as simple as that: they were immature children who barely understood relationships let alone gay relationships. It is quite easy as outsiders, and adults even, to comment and say “they should have talked it out” or “koutaka should have tried to apologize” but I think most of us in that position might do something similar to the characters.
Also, kinda laughed so hard when he said he wanted to “celebrate this” and I thought “oh are they having sex?” But the next panel shows decorating the room for a party. Lmao
Ohh this seems good. I saw that the author made Katsutoshi as well which was kinda weird but had a very subtle hint of sadness so I was right to kinda expect the same vibe from this series.

Eunhyun, Haejun, everyone just felt so real and their stories made me cry.
I really related to Eunhyun and Haejun’s “friendship” as dysfunctional as it is. The way they found solace and understanding in one another and yet it’s hard for them to show it is like how it was with a friend of mine. Coincidentally he was my housemate during college lmao and we had a lot of unhealthy fights. But deep down, we’re always concerned with one another. The scene when their relationship completely broke down during the sports festival was too real for me since that is exactly how it played out with my friend. We said very harsh words to one another and it took time to repair our relationship. Distance and other friends also played a big role in healing. Now me and my friend are really good friends still and we have both matured a lot since then.
Anyway just really love this series. I want the kids to be happy.
