I want to vent a little bit. I don't think what I'm facing is a universal experience nor is it very unique but this manga is a breath of fresh air to me. In my household, we were all instructed to learn professional courses (law, medicine etc) I'm currently trying to get an accounting degree in addition to the legal degree that I already have. Seeing the boys all choosing careers that reinforces their passion, interest, dreams make me wonder, if maybe one day ,I might regret the path I've taken. It's a beautiful thing living your life the way you want it, a privilege. I just chose never to think about my interests, dreams or whatever when thinking about what I want to do for the rest of my life. this is getting long but I just w(づ ̄ ³ ̄)づant to emphasize that there lies infinite beauty in the ordinary and I find it sad that after this post I'll forget and still continue running the endless cycle of attaining the unattainable
I totally feel you but i want you to remember that you can have passions without pursuing them professionally! The choice to have a sure and stable career is always a good one and even if right now you are pretty busy there will be a time where that stable job will allow you to pour time and money into your passions (and maybe even make them a side hussle who knows). I chose the path of pursuing my passion professionally and I too wonder sometimes if that was the right choice! What if I get tired of it someday? What if I'm poor for the rest of my life? Truth is no matter your path you take you will question yourself! But there is no right or wrong path! We have a saying in france that says "tout les chemins menent à rome" (all paths lead to roma) and in this context it would mean that all path can lead you to happiness! Don't worry if you made the right choice, instead try to find what makes you happy and focus on that!

Thank you so much for this reply. You're right in every way. Just because my path isn't the same as others doesn't make it any less mine. I hope I'll be able to write my own novel /webtoon one day. Till then. Thank you once again
