oh hi! thanks for voicing ur disagree.
when i said i hated rachel, it was merely out of my personal preference.
about asking marie for credit, she didn't ask for it. she asked marie to help her (the dress, the pastries...) not to take credit for her work.
like i said before, ariel isn't any less hateable, but rachel isn't any less likable. this is based on my personal experience and also because of reading some of the raws.
besides, in future chapters, y'all will know why i hate rachel so much.

I would like to clarify that I wasn't saying you can't dislike her. Its perfectly fine to like or dislike any character as a reader.

As for taking credit for her work, that's how I read it as. She said she required Marie's capability and then later there is a scene where Marie is saying/showing that she will stand in shadows while Rachel is in the spotlight. So it's entirely possible that I have misinterpreted the scene with the deal and the scene with Marie reflecting on it but that is how I read it.

I do, however, find a disconnect in Rachel's intelligence. She seems smart and has done everything in an intelligent manner so far except for in front of the prince. Like okay, you lie to him once and take credit for Marie's work, sure. You lie to him 2 times despite questioning why he's questioning you? You lie to him *three* times and don't think he's into you?? Like Marie has been characterized as generally oblivious so I can understand why she doesn't think the prince would suddenly notice her no longer performing feats but Rachel suddenly is. But he directly questioned Rachel about it and she had enough sense to get nervous, but not enough sense to save herself. How can you be so dumb?

- the crown prince and marie gonna date in the end amma right (they did date)
- after going out, they went out to town (like when marie met 'ran') and it started raining, they took shelter in the same chapel they did last time
- they reminisce about that time
- crown prince plays a love song on the piano
- marie is ridden with guilt and confesses that she's the princess
- after looking into his eyes, she realizes that he knew
- prince called over a priest and the two gave out their vows (wooo unofficial wedding)
