Sigh. Usually I can understand the author’s motives even when a story doesn’t end the way you want it to end, but in this case...I’m bummed because it felt like a lazy ending. Certainly, we fall for people who don’t like us back etc., but this story was poorly drawn together to commit to this end point. Plot development was weak for Karam - in fact, was there any *real* effort to do so other than the fact that he co-existed in a classroom? Not really. Honestly, poor Junseo...the author turned him from a character of strength to almost pathetic; a poor guy who keeps falling in love and investing his care into others who can never return it. Phew. Harsh ending - I guess we all just hope he keeps feeling like a loveable human being cause he got used by the author as a quick escape. Bummed overall, it really was enjoyable to read until the lazy last chapters.

I dunno, I really liked the story just as it was. It felt realistic - couples often get stuck in their anxieties and fears, refuse to ask the real questions, and let that tension build until things become ruined. I felt like their reunion was short, sweet and fit the story. It wasn’t drawn out or dramatic; it made clear they still loved one another and had done the personal work needed to be together in a mature way. I really enjoyed this!
