Okay, so 1st thing 1st, 9/10 Story. Really enjoyed the twist & probably would have given this a 10/10 however it is a little all over the place, but it’s still an easy read.
Now to the complaint, (hand claps to the author for pointing out the real problem the world would face if an apocalypse ever happened), MEN! You know I honestly don’t believe men actually enjoy men & the truth lays in the pudding when you can clearly see that men are even scared of other men. That’s why accountability is so hard for them to accept or even give out! (POSSIBLE SPOILER/ but not really): For the uke to have gone through such a traumatic experience & still not be ashamed of himself & to make sure he travels out into the world to warn women & men alike not to go to that place was a real saving grace for some men. Like, it’s easy to generalize & that’s exactly what I’m doing for the simple fact that if you don’t generalize in this case you can wind up like the uke in the story, it’s still nice to think that there are some men out there that wouldn’t SA someone just because they can.
However, I didn’t come here to say “not all men”. I really came to say that it sucks because the fact is if an apocalypse actually ever happened, women, children, and even some men will be true victims to men & whatever the apocalypse holds. Honestly it makes me think of The Walking Dead show & how some of the fans were mad that it became more than just having to survive zombies, but honestly that’s the most realistic thing about it. Men even when moved down the list of predators would still be the number 1 issue for women. And I know I said it already but it do genuinely sucks that there is nothing we can do about that. I mean I def love what the author did with the direction it went & it would be nice if women started getting revenge on monsters like that, but only in a perfect world. I know if I ever had to experience SA I would hope that I could be strong enough to get revenge on the fucker! (Not saying women who don’t get revenge isn’t strong because I do believe those that can move forward in their healing is actually the strongest, even if they want to forgive—though I do have strong dislike for the idea of “forgive & forget”, I still will say those that do are amazing in my book either way!) I just hope for myself if something was to happen I can take a page out of this manga & get my get back!
But, anyways though the threat was fantasy the SA was very real & is something that is happening today without the apocalypse so I do love how the author was able to portray it & how by the middle you we’re rooting for the MC. In love & revenge! I also like that the SA wasn’t unnecessary or that it wasn’t prolonged out into multiple chapters. There’s a saying that you can tell if a movie was directed by a man or woman on how they portray rape in it & this manga really reminds me of it because the rape was there & you did see it but not in such a detailed way that it throws you off from wanting to continue. I will say 10/10 on the revenge all the way!
Lastly, I just want to put I hope this comment doesn’t overshadow the manga for anyone! It really is good & I can’t wait to see the update! It’s labeled completed but some of the comments are saying it’s still going so will be looking out for it! If you made it this far than ask for reading my comment & the last thing I wasn’t to say is I don’t hate men, I just hate the world that sits & allow men to go unaccounted in their actions that harms others! I also want to say I understand women rape too and should be held accountable as well, it’s just scary how much more men do said actions and I do believe if we had a real regrettable, acceptable punishment we could slow those numbers down some. Yet, for this world we continue to sit by and cater to those type of monsterous behaviors. Anyways thanks for reading my complaint & to those who have been affected by such terrible actions I want you to know I love you & you’re not alone! The main character is NOT a real psycho! He’s actually obsessed with the uke in a really cute way! I would argue even in a healthy way if you think about the hell they’re living in & add that he was raised by religious cult freaks & then had to turn around & survive by himself because his mom was a dick & left him all alone. Like why prep for the end of the world if you can’t handle being alone? Mind you she wasn’t genuinely alone because she had her freaking son but I guess beggars can’t be choosers & at the end of the day she did leave him to survive with better t skills than most children! Anyways, the main character did not get kidnapped and the seme actually saved him instead locked him up! Either way this story gets a 9/10 from me! It’s very cute and reading the other comments it’s not actually complete so I can’t wait to see more! Now excuse as I go make another comment because I definitely have to complain about really important to me about this story! Also, now that I spoiled for you please give it a read! It’s actually really good but I definitely have to understand why some ppl wouldn’t read it due to how the author sets up the story! A lot of ppl are tied of the hopeless/ SA/ trauma tropes, which I get but this ain’t that! I will warn you though it do have rape but it’s not coming from the main character & it’s actually important to the story not like those unnecessary SA lines that a lot of manga have. Why is the topic rape? Like I’m legit confused. I thought I was going to see some real fun topics about the newest chapter but all I see is everyone jumping to rape & accusing the people who don’t agree to be rape apologist. And all I have to say is please be for real! Let’s not make this beautiful consenting couple into something it’s not! Yes she said no & yes he may have kept going for a second but when she clearly said stop loud enough for him to hear, what did he do? You guessed it! He stopped! The best thing about manga is that the author sometimes allow you to hear both of the people thoughts & we clearly heard our beautiful prince thoughts about how it was his first time & how he was so happy to give that 1st time to her. We were also able to see that he clearly didn’t know how to do the do & how she stubbornly wasn’t going to take her time for him to learn. She very much wanted him & may have bit off more than she can chew! Which is why when she said stop he stopped. Just because he didn’t do it fast enough for your all liking does not mean he is a rapist. He legit did not hear babygirl! & just because we can clearly see her say stop does not mean she actually said it loud enough for him to hear it!
Let me also address the ones who don’t agree with the rapist allegations: it doesn’t matter if she consented up to that point & decided to change her mind. When someone says no it means NO! She had every right to say no & expected him to stop upon her request! Just because I don’t agree with him being called a rapist does not mean y’all’s argument about this is right! If he had heard her & the author made it know he did but continued anyways than & only than he would have been wrong & rape could be considered in that context! However I do need some of y’all to go touch grass on both sides of this argument because to immediately jump to rape is insane & we need to then have the conversation about how this could truly harm real victims! And to also disagree to such a extent that your claiming it’s not rape if they give consent only one time & can’t change their mind at all after that one time— yeah big SIDE EYE to you babes! I too am hesitant with calling Richard a rapist for reasons I said on my topic. And also, you're right, he did eventually stop when he came back to his sense. Still doesn't mean what he did was right or wrong either.
But, I just want to say respectfully, rape can be defined so differently by different people? Idk... Like it can mean both penetration and/or non penetration (especially if lets say the rape happened between 2 queer people who don't biologically have a penis). And like legally it would be just called assult when only touching is involved. Again it's really up to the reader and their discretion to what Richard did. We don't know if it because of experiences they're calling it what it is.And they're all valid to feel upset when the story so far has betrayed them. Yknow?

I really did not want to come off as someone who defends rape or rapist. I just wanted some to understand that going off of how this story even started it seems like our FL was consenting at the time & had hurt herself with her own actions because if we even think about it our prince legit was so upset when she hit herself testing to make sure she wasn’t hurting him to bad. It’s just wouldn’t fit for his character to even be a rapist. Like he was sick to his stomach just thinking she was in pain. And if I had to guess going off his character development the next chapter is going to be him really turned off or begging to be punished for even to dare hurt his master. It’ll be very on brand for him to be apologetic.
I truly hope this clears up any confusion my first comment may have caused. Again I really am sorry if I came off inconsiderate to other people’s feelings & experience to such a traumatic situation!
honestly you're fine! you explained yourself and your persepctive clearly. no need to apologize!! there are honestly soooo many ways to read and interpret the chapter. its very nuanced situation that shouldnt be this deep. but media literacy is a good thing.
plus you placed emphasis on making sure that people need to be careful on making assumptions because it does hurt real victims which is a really good thing!
With how heavily his sexual fetishes are stressed throughout the story, it's difficult to distinguish whether he earnestly looks out for our FL for who she is or whether he cares for her as a mistress. He incessantly priorities his sexual desires, trying to urge the FL into the narrative he idolises. His shock could be pertinent to his idea that his mistress should be approached with utter respect and her role is not to hurt herself but him.
Another ambivalent thing with men in particular is that they are physically stronger than women, and that's why in cases like these they ought to be extra considerate. He gave her full control over him yet he stripped it away in a second, upon having been consumed by his own selfish wishes and his raging libido. He practically imposed his strength on her leaving her helpless while all she could do was yell loud enough to snap him out of it. Yet he claimed he held the utmost respect for her. This is a major blunder on his part and it cannot be excused. Once again placing his desires over her right of will.
The way things unfolded easily ended up laying down the foundation for grape. Depending on how the story unravels from onwards, we will get to understand whether it was the author's intention to make such an offense look appealing. But so far I, too, am highly disappointed by the fact that this story represents male egoism and superiority complex over women and sexualises that.

I actually like this story. I can’t stand when a psychopath just becomes cured of their bad ways through the magic of love. Like I understand this is all a fantasy but it’s nice not to romanticize bad behavior sometimes and I believe the seme is just that, a bad guy who happens to be obsessed with the uke. I even like how the uke is naive because usually times that’s exactly that. Good people always talk themselves into their demise! If you think about a lot of true crime victims you realize that the victims always make the wrong decision in the end by giving the bad guy the benefit of doubt. Either way it go I give this a 9/10 for its realism & a 7/10 for its overall. It’s entertaining & it keeps me guessing the endgame in all this. Actually I give it a 8/10 for making root for the bad guy a little. When he stated “Back to square one”, I literally smirked myself as if I was him. So hand claps to the author!
The younger me is asking the older me to forgive me! I wasted to reread the manga so bad I went looking because the younger me would read something I liked & never add it to a list or at least vote. But now that I’m older this so “romantic” manga is a nightmare now. I honestly don’t know what I was thinking— like I legit cried the first couple of times reading this story & now I’m like wtf?! He should be jailed how he treated my girl & for the grooming! Also hello sister? Wtf?! She wasn’t trying to help the victim AT ALL! I’m cool with a slow burn, really I am. However, I need this wrapped up by the end of the week, lol. No, but for real though at least bring the main character back in. Like I alarmist forgot what this was about. No lie sometimes I feel like the author wants to prolong a story just for the views & I know that’s crazy because at the end of the day that’s the goal to begin with BUT what I mean is like what should be maybe 2 season turns into 25 seasons & this story which I can easily see being 200 chapters (which I wouldn’t have mind because I do enjoy long mangas) feels like it’s going to be 2000 chapters due to how slow this is going. I’m gonna hold off on this & wait until it gets close to be done because if I don’t I really do feel like I’m gonna lose the plot!
