i thought it was an isekai but it’s not AND DOSENT MAKE IT ANY LESS GOOD. ceaser and catherine’s relationship IS SO CUTE. even tho ceaser hasn’t ‘really’ shown any romantic feelings for catherine (it can all be interpreted as feelings for his master) THEYRE STILL CUTE. the way he wants to fully protect her and all the little things he does for her and HES ALWAYS THERE FOR HER. THHEYRE JUST SO CUTE. i live for them, and the overarching mystery too this is so fire

since he’s been training with the whole knight thing it’s been really stagnant and nothing really new is happening. like it’s doing the exact same thing every single isekai does with the “wow he’s only trained for 15 seconds and he’s defeating someone who’s trained for 3000 years he’s so cool” like i did like that they made it rather difficult for him to unlock aura and it makes sense that he’ll be able to use aura well because of his past life, but they don’t really aknowledge that his power is from his past life and idk why they’re dick riding this whole golden aura thing, but yknow, it’s pretty good. as an isekai it’s repetitive but i enjoyed myself

he was so fine before he reincarnated and he’s so pookie dookie woompie pants as a kid HES SO CUTE MY GOD. now that’s he’s graduated i wish they’d give him back his mercenary rugged look. apart from that the whole story is mid, he reincarnated after his family fell and he hold like no attachment to them except when he’ll mention like once every 15 chapters “yeah and then i’ll get revenge for my father” even tho i have no idea when it was mentioned or why we care about him

actually really enjoyed how as an isekai they didn’t make him super overpowered immediately and how he’s STILL struggling because of his past life, it didn’t become just a cute little character quirk. like yeah he’s advancing a lot faster but fundamentally he’s still a weak insect teir he’s just growing past it. so far loved it
