I'm gonna let this marinate for a bit. It's frustrating me to no end! Sorry but, I don't like both leads rn. I'm just gonna wait until the reveal happens.
One of these days I'd really like another story where the FMC tells the ML the truth/being a transmigrator/from another world!! I feel like this is story, while super pleasant and fun to read, is p basic/uses a lot of familiar cliches or tropes, so I don't have my hopes too high... but imagine. It would be fun.
Though knowing the prince's trust issues I don't think the two are close enough for him to believe her one sec ╮(￣∇￣")╭ but wahhhh this story is really so so pleasant to read, the art style is fun and clean and sort of fresh, if that makes sense, and this honestly feels like somewhat of a palette cleanser among the many other stories of the same genre. It's familiar and fun, but it has it's own little mysteries and story aspects that make you want more! Never mind the leads' interactions, I love them sm and seeing both develop more care and trust in each other (not necessarily romantically, I'm happy with platonic caring) (▰˘◡˘▰)
The MC is....something. LOVE the premise. Like omg where have u ever seen a manhwa put a regressor as A SIDE CHARACTER?? I love flawed characters don't get me wrong,, but man the way she acted for the first few chapters. I get it, yeah, relatable character on top of being OP, doesn't want people to find out that, traumatic backstory, yadayada, but she just didn't give ykno. Complaining and not helping during that first rift scene and then on top of that, seeing her acting all bratty in Dohyun's house... quite literally plummets my first impression of her. She wasn't relatable in any sense,, she just seemed like a spoiled brat in the first few chapters. And the pacing of this story does not help our girl at all. The story only ever picks up at what,, chapter 9?? She didn't bring anything to the table for the first few chapters. I literally did not have anything looking forward to or wondering 'what's gonna happen now?' regarding her, our MC, in the beginning of the story-- and that's crazy story writing.
I've seen enough of the Crown Prince's personality. My dislike of him is valid. He's just annoying and nasty af.
I don't think Yoona's that bad now... Lmao. Let's be real, MC and Yoona both got fucked over by ML and they both tried to take revenge. Let's not be hypocritical about that. The only difference with the two of them is their conscience. MC felt bad and just stopped everything, but ended up ACTUALLY messing up ML's head. While Yoona does not feel bad because, who wouldn't feel mad after being used like that? I know I'd be petty as hell if it was me. I'd be okay if Yoona is doing this because of revenge when she was used by ML. But I WOULDN'T be okay if she is doing this because she thinks ML didn't choose her over MC; Cause that would actually mean she thought she had a chance with him lmao. She should know her place, I mean that genuinely. Like please, DO NOT BE BLIND GIRL AND KNOW YOUR WORTH.
I still don't like the crown prince... Gonna have to see more of his character/personality for me to [maybe] change my mind.
I don't like the second ml. He exploits mc, is cocky and just annoying af overall. Eww
