Because most of the time when Chika was with other people, Natsuki always seemed to be fine about it. And because of that, Chika wanted to see Natsuki being jealous sometimes. So it has bothered Chika that Natsuki not having that jealousy in him because Chika himself is rather possessive when it comes to Natsuki. However, the moment Natsuki burst out his feelings that he’s not okay with Chika meeting his ex-tutor and super jealous about it and also insecure and overthinks if they met behind him or do stuff together, Chika got overwhelmed by the confession, because all these time he thought Natsuki was feeling alright but actually he’s not. So what’s been bothering him disappeared immediately after that. Basically it reassures Chika that Natsuki feels the same way about him as how he feels about Natsuki with others. It solidifies their feelings are mutual more than ever. That’s why Chika is like “I’m not trying to purposely make you feel jealous tho” and Natsuki was like “I lied about saying I was fine coz I don’t want to look petty and shit”. While the entire situation just make sense that why they are bothered about these stuffs coz they only ever think of each other and only love each other.
