I LOVE that the uke wasn't forced to have sex and had the option to do it or not without pressure on him. A+ seme right there!

Am I the only one who still thinks Kan-chan needs some kind of therapy? I don't understand why everyone is suddenly forgiving his previous abuse just because we found out about his troubles at work. You don't beat the living shit out of someone because things are going badly. Who's to say he won't get frustrated again someday and start pounding on his new boyfriend? That kind of mental damage doesn't just "repair" itself. I know everyone wants a magical happy ending, but I can't imagine that Kan-chan is suddenly a mentally healthy person with no violent tendencies. I was hoping we'd see him grow a bit more as a character rather than get "fixed" by a new man who was willing to overlook what he had done in the past.

You have no ideas of the effects or cycles of abuse. Hayashida was abused, bullied and hit at work every day so guess how he dealt with it? He knew it was wrong and it's good it ended where it did. Something like "don't let me be any more of a monster than I already am" like pretty deep. No one is saying forgive. They are saying to understand. Both of them need love and support and maybe some therapy but to me I empathize with Hayashida's journey to becoming who he is, recognizing what he was doing and how he would never be the same.

You're making abuse out to be a simple thing. By saying 'don't let me be any more of a monster than I already am' he is putting the blame on someone else than actively trying to recover on his own. <<he rather take away his punching bag then work on himself. Even after, we don't see how he deals with the fact that he was abused and was an abuser. Abuse does not stop that easily. NOBODY is saying that he isn't trying.

They are saying that he should do something more proactive about it. That it won't be magically fixed. It's not as simple as you think that just because you WANT or WISH for it, it would magically be better. He has to ACTIVELY work for it. The fact that he held on to the pictures for so long after, showed that he HASN'T moved on from what he did and he SHOULD. Especially before moving on to a new relationship or else at least still be in therapy for it. What he was doing before the new guy came along was still him just avoiding someone in case he GETS abusive.<<Still trying to pin the blame on someone else. Instead of going after the problem itself. And that's not healthy. Recognising a problem is all well and good but does nothing if he never tries to help himself.

I think so many people are torn about the subject matter in this manga because the S&M play is riding on the line between hardcore and straight up abuse. I admit when he kicked him in the FACE and harmed him I felt kinda disgusted, because I'm pretty sure that's NOT a form of S&M. But here's the thing: the story has a complex psychological twist to it all. It's SUPPOSED to be thought provoking to the reader. My only hope is that the Dom doesn't continue to make the Sub a bloody mess. There are better ways to try and understand someone with a pain kink than to beat the answer out of them, because the Sub has already stated that he doesn't understand why he is the way he is.

I swear this mangaka love/thrives on creating controversial plots.

Yeah I hated how Masumi (the dom) kicked Tobita but I also disliked Tobita for begging for more. I don't just blame the Dom but the sub as well. They are both idiots who's just starting out on bdsm. But in chapter 5 it was established that Tobita does understand the difference between inflicting pleasurable pain and pain that's meant to hurt.

So hopefully it'll be better in the next one if that kiss in the end is an indicator.

I totally agree! I believe they're both at fault when it comes to what happened with the whole kicking incident. Hopefully their communication improves. To me, understanding your partner and their needs/limits would be the most important aspect of BDSM.

I think this manga is legitimately one of my all time favorites. I NEED MORE REVERSIBLE GOODNESS IN MY LIFE! Plus, the story has been consistently awesome. It doesn't get much better than this! (unless we get that foursome) hehehehehehehe

This was absolutely adorable! I've never seen a more healthy relationship in a manga before. I was smiling the whole way through!

A healthy relationship? In a manga? This I gotta see.

Trust me, it is! They mutually respect one another, their communication is ON POINT, and they fall in love in such a genuine and sweet way. To this day, I've yet to come across another manga with a healthy relationship like theirs!

"Feels like shit moving in and then out." FINALLY someone says what it realistically feels like! Lmao. I think we all kinda knew it already, but at least we get confirmation every once in a while that anal sex isn't always as glamorous as most manga want us to believe.

Everytime I make a big dump I imagine that's how anal sex feels like. Lmfao It kind of really is I see. Hahahaha

All I can say is WHAT THE HELL!? I was so happy that the two of them ended up together and then literally the next chapter it's like "jk he dies a tragic death. Go drown in your tears." FUUUUHHHHHH. I feel like I need a gallon of ice cream and some fluffy yaoi to heal my broken heart
