The fact that so many people find Ishikawa raping Takayama acceptable boggles my mind. I can't fully fathom why Takayama himself found it to be okay. The story suffered from what I like to call "stupid couple syndrome"; When one or the other keeps doing stupid shit yet they keep coming back together in the end, THAT is stupidity at its finest.
If this was a real life rape situation, do you think all of you would still be saying they're a "cute couple"? For Takayama to willingly choose to be with someone like Ishikawa only shows how weak of a person he really is.
I don't particularly have anything against the rape theme in yaoi manga because it usually doesn't continue beyond the rape scene, but in situations like this I don't like when everyone is screaming their support of a clearly unhealthy relationship between two men who don't know any better. (there is NO "good reason" to violate someones body)
And before people start yelling at me: none of us are right or wrong here. In the end we all believe what we want to believe.
Yeah, the way the uke shrugged it off as if he'd had his lunch money stolen had me like lol wtf. Maybe it's because he was attracted to that guy to start with and that's why he didn't mind.
And the part where the seme said "all gays are disgusting except you" was really annoying. The seme was really annoying, a total slimebucket, and the uke was way too forgiving.
Judging by the comments though, a lot of people liked it. Idk, just wasn't my cup of tea this time.
I'll never be able to look at flowers the same ever again. Every time I see a potted flower I'll think, "Where's it's dick?- I mean 'STAMEN'... ya know... for educational purposes. I totally don't expect a sexy fairy with a magical nectar dick to appear if I start performing fellatio on it.... nope..... not at all!"
I can't be the only one that felt like ALL of the stories were left unfinished!? At the end of each chapter I felt myself internally screaming in frustration! I'm dying to see the GOOD STUFF *wink wink* and not only that, there was so much more that could have been done with the couples. Each plot was seriously good enough to warrant their own full length manga!
DAMMIT, I WANT MORE! lol
I see everyone in the comment section talking about chapter 5 and the morality of it and whatnot. I personally didn't feel it was offensive enough to label the mangaka as a "sicko". Was the chapter strange? Sure. But was it BAD? Not really.
I've read some pretty graphic yaoi manga in the past and only ONE of them was offensive enough to make me question the mangaka's sanity. (it was a shota themed manga that ended with the boy getting his penis forcibly CHOPPED OFF) So as you can understand, I don't find this manga all that offensive. Keep in mind that rape IS a common theme that comes up often in this genre.
I know that it's typical "manga formula" for the two leads to end up together, but in this case I think Masahito was a better choice for Yuusuke in the long run. But let me make it clear: this situation really didn't call for Masahito to sexually force himself on Yuusuke! The reason I'm letting it slide is because Yuusuke knew (and admitted to himself) that he could have escaped or pushed him away if he wanted to. The sex was more along the lines of "dubious consent".
As for Souji? That guy was a bigger wuss than most of the whiny/crybaby ukes out there. How that man managed to be a seme I'll never know. He really had no right to be with Yuusuke after everything he had done. For examle, WHY DIDN'T HE JUST ADMIT WHY HE WAS GETTING MARRIED IN THE FIRST PLACE!?!?! That's really the stupidest thing I've ever heard...
I've always thought that Maki shouldn't have outright refused to try being the uke at some point. Relationships involve a lot of compromise in my opinion. Being the seme shouldn't be about "dominance", because lets face it: ukes can be just as dominant if they choose to be! Sex is a physical connection between two people, and I see no harm in sharing/switching different forms of pleasure with each other from time to time.
Hell, even in some straight relationships there are men who allow their girlfriends/wives to probe their ass from time to time!
I never said he "had to" do anything. And who said anything about arms going up asses?? That's FISTING. Anyway, I think you mistook my words. You're trying to make it sound like I said he has to be tied down and forced to have a dick shoved up his butt. Maki was more than willing to try until he was faced with the reality of the situation (that it doesn't exactly feel pleasant). He didn't even let him go beyond barely touching him. His boyfriend clearly doesn't want to be the only one taking it from behind, he stated so himself. That's why he said they'll work Maki up to actual penetration someday. It wasn't an unreasonable request and it wasn't like he was saying "I'm going to rape you if you don't agree!".
Long story short: Don't get mad at me for something I didn't say.
So true!!
The first uke nearly made me quit reading the manga entirely and move on to something else. I think we all agree that his actions were shitty. He cheated under pretty ridiculous pretenses and faced no consequences after it happened. He claims he wants to be "cherished"? THEN DON'T BE A WHORE!
Here's my advice to that uke: BUY A DILDO! You obviously can't handle a real relationship.
I agree with youths seme should have dumped is ass !!

You not youths
I think the OP meant "you the" but made 2 typos: you the -> youthe -> youths lol
Daia is just plain adorable. His clothing reminded me a lot of the boys in Black Butler (which takes place in the Victorian England era). So the frilly and cute outfits made sense for Daia's character. I for one appreciate a mangaka who maintains accuracy in a time period story.
As for Kuro?... One word: MMMMMMMM! He's some grade-A prime choice seme man meat.
After reading countless unnecessary rape stories I can't tell you how nice it is to see a seme be gentle and sweet during sex every once in a while!
Beautiful art. Sweet story. A+ in my book!
