I'm no longer surprised at some of the stories I manage to come across when it comes to yaoi. I've learned that rape is a very common theme (as well as "dub-con"). Does it bother me? Not always. Did THIS story bother me? Eh, not really. I've read way worse before!
As for the characters, did anyone else think of Nagisa from Free!? hahaha. He's the ultimate sweetheart in the anime but anyone who's really into the show is convinced he's actually a gun carrying hardcore "thug seme" thanks to his 'dubbed' version in "50% off". So the characters personality switch in this manga TOTALLY reminded me of Nagisa. If anything that's what I found most amusing while I was reading this. hahaha!

Daia is just plain adorable. His clothing reminded me a lot of the boys in Black Butler (which takes place in the Victorian England era). So the frilly and cute outfits made sense for Daia's character. I for one appreciate a mangaka who maintains accuracy in a time period story.
As for Kuro?... One word: MMMMMMMM! He's some grade-A prime choice seme man meat.
After reading countless unnecessary rape stories I can't tell you how nice it is to see a seme be gentle and sweet during sex every once in a while!
Beautiful art. Sweet story. A+ in my book!

The fact that so many people find Ishikawa raping Takayama acceptable boggles my mind. I can't fully fathom why Takayama himself found it to be okay. The story suffered from what I like to call "stupid couple syndrome"; When one or the other keeps doing stupid shit yet they keep coming back together in the end, THAT is stupidity at its finest.
If this was a real life rape situation, do you think all of you would still be saying they're a "cute couple"? For Takayama to willingly choose to be with someone like Ishikawa only shows how weak of a person he really is.
I don't particularly have anything against the rape theme in yaoi manga because it usually doesn't continue beyond the rape scene, but in situations like this I don't like when everyone is screaming their support of a clearly unhealthy relationship between two men who don't know any better. (there is NO "good reason" to violate someones body)
And before people start yelling at me: none of us are right or wrong here. In the end we all believe what we want to believe.

Yeah, the way the uke shrugged it off as if he'd had his lunch money stolen had me like lol wtf. Maybe it's because he was attracted to that guy to start with and that's why he didn't mind.
And the part where the seme said "all gays are disgusting except you" was really annoying. The seme was really annoying, a total slimebucket, and the uke was way too forgiving.
Judging by the comments though, a lot of people liked it. Idk, just wasn't my cup of tea this time.

I'll never be able to look at flowers the same ever again. Every time I see a potted flower I'll think, "Where's it's dick?- I mean 'STAMEN'... ya know... for educational purposes. I totally don't expect a sexy fairy with a magical nectar dick to appear if I start performing fellatio on it.... nope..... not at all!"

I can't be the only one that felt like ALL of the stories were left unfinished!? At the end of each chapter I felt myself internally screaming in frustration! I'm dying to see the GOOD STUFF *wink wink* and not only that, there was so much more that could have been done with the couples. Each plot was seriously good enough to warrant their own full length manga!
DAMMIT, I WANT MORE! lol

I see everyone in the comment section talking about chapter 5 and the morality of it and whatnot. I personally didn't feel it was offensive enough to label the mangaka as a "sicko". Was the chapter strange? Sure. But was it BAD? Not really.
I've read some pretty graphic yaoi manga in the past and only ONE of them was offensive enough to make me question the mangaka's sanity. (it was a shota themed manga that ended with the boy getting his penis forcibly CHOPPED OFF) So as you can understand, I don't find this manga all that offensive. Keep in mind that rape IS a common theme that comes up often in this genre.
The first seme wasn't exactly my cup of tea. To be completely honest neither was the doctor (simply because he shoved his dick up that kid without any explanation beforehand). The first seme came across worse than a sadist in my opinion. When you're dealing with a middle school aged boy, do you really think he's gonna understand the mind games of an adult? Not to mention the piercing was just.... WRONG! Shota doesn't bother me, it's the abusive semes that get to me.
I agree with you on that. Well specialy that kaiya Guy I sooooo don't like him (▰˘◡˘▰)
