I have read a lot of yaoi and a majority of the stories have rape. Depending on how the characters and story is perceived I take it to heart and cant continue reading. I don't mind if its a portrayal of a real life story but rape is never something that ppl should think its normal. Like how the characters would fall in love with their rapist

A "Roman" is a Book genre, like Yaoi is a Manga genre. But this one is my bad, cause in English you use the word "Novel. So a "Roman" = "Novel".
The name of the Okane ga nai "Novel" , is also "Okane ga nai!", or at least something like this.
The Author is the same as the Manga, Hitoyo Shinozaki.
The source is the Novel itself. It is written in there "based on a true story".
And since the Manga is just a Comic adaption of the Novel, the Manga is also a true story, or "based" on a true story, whatever you like.

Not the only one. I think considering their characters Yuri is more likely to top but wouldn't be adverse to bottoming. So probably a switch with Yuri topping more than Viktor. But as far as YOI manga goes, both are good. This was really a perfect YOI manga.
