Can someone please reassure me that Geom won't end up with Rieder? Because if so, then this whole story would be pointless and more of jus a kink by the author.

LOOONGG SPOILER:
ok so i didn’t fully read the remaining chapters but i skimmed. soo good news: geom ends up with wooyeon (thank gosh) and they are happily living together!! they are now an official couple. as for geom and rieder. they have a final conversation and i remember in the beginning geom is the one who approaches rieder, rieder doesnt recognize geom (for some reason hes now partially blind?? like his visions rlly blurry) in which geom says its him. they have a talk which i didnt rlly read the middle but i remember that rieder smirks and mentions that no matter what geom will always remember him even as he looks at wooyeon because of the similar scars he gave him on his back. (yeahh so another spoiler, rieder gave wooyeon scars like his, on his back.) in which geom says that although wooyeon may have similar scars, he will always see wooyeon as wooyeon and never be reminded of rieder. imo, u can see rieder getting annoyed/slightly upset because personally, this entire time geom has always been attached to rieder through trauma. rieder knew that which is why he knew he could continuously abuse him whenever, whatever. so seeing how geom says he won’t be reminded of him will ofc piss him off (good!!). rieder brushes it off ofc and says that the doll he once found entertaining is no longer fun for him anymore. we see his inner monologue (his thoughts) nd i remember reading how he thought he would’ve much preferred geom being tortured and broken forever at the clubhouse (what a psycho, am i right?) but he leaves geom alone and we see him hopping on his motorcycle and driving away. BUTTT that’s not the end. i think either the last chapter or the second to last chapter we see them walking past each other. idk how long it was since the last time they’ve seen each other but geom notices rieder but walks right past him. rieder however, walks past but turns around and looks back. so satisfying right? geoms finally gotten rid of that trauma bond he had for rieder after so long!! so proud ㅠㅠ. yeah so my baby is happy!!! :))

Somehow, the ending for Geum-hoo seems unnecessary. Why can't he just get back to his estate then? Why the unnecessary suffering? Why couldn't Beom just take him to work with him then, instead of living him alone and vulnerable? It's like malnutrition is the main cause of it. If he was properly attended with his needs, that wouldn't happen at all. I was secretly hoping for Eun-hoo with Sullivan and Muhu to apppear out of nowhere to help them, seriously. So, I can't take the drama at the end well cause it could have been better, there's a lot of other choices open.

It's supposed to be ironic. For a man that has lived in luxury and had never ONCE been sick dies from a cold, the same cold/weather that was what beom feared would hurt him a year prior, it's poetic. Something that they thought would never hurt him, not when compared to the prince, the assassin's, and his missions. It's ironic

Geum-hoo was still on the run for being a suspected murderer. He had lost everything the moment he was taken into custody which is why all the people from the butchers' village were shielding them as they ran from the authorities.
Seun-woo or whatever was able to get the bastard prince sentenced, but that didn't absolve Geum-hoo of his suspected crimes since they didn't have proof that he wasn't the one who had his cousins murdered.
Geum-hoo couldn't walk. Beom's job that day was to help reconstruct a bridge that had fallen and he had hoped to finish the job before the day ended. He stayed longer specifically to steal more food to take back to Geum-hoo 'cause they had both gone without eating for a while. Beom didn't expect Geum-hoo to sit outside and wait on him out in the cold or he would have rushed back immediately.
Eun-hoo and the others were literally on a different continent and had no way of knowing what was going on in Korea at the time. It would have been a lil too unbelievable for them to swoop in at the last minute to save the two from starvation and illness. Not to mention Beom constantly had them moving around so there was no telling where they had ended up.
The ending was good. It was poetic and gave them a chance to live in another lifetime happily and in peace. You just don't like it 'cause it was too realistic and you're too used to things just conveniently working out for the protagonists so they get to live.

Lucky, there's always the 'reincarnation' plot if things doesn't work well with the past timeline, and for story development. Too realistic to die with a cold, yep. Also, I am not too used to things just conveniently working out. I've read a lot of stories with almost all of characters dying, for a better plot or even for a justifiable ending. That's why I say that with this one, I don't take it well, cause compared with other stories that is more dramatic and psychological than this, there is seriously still a chance for them in their current lifetime instead of the 'reincarnation' plot twist.

Oh I see, they made it light as possible compared to the novel. There are supposed to be a lot of hardcore and non-con on their first seggs. But anyway, lighter or not I know others will still be triggered.

here! This should do :).

Our baby potato why so sexy. And honestly, what's whit all the comments. Just drop it if you get offended with the non-con, con or rape or whatever bs you think it has. No one's stopping you. Leave it to other people who actually appreciate and enjoy it. Might as well, make your own story and art.
