I love how Charlotte remembers the kids in her mage life and she still sees them as kids (even though they're now well over 40 lol)(≧∀≦)

A lot of people say that Ginger and Lergre (Whatever red hair's name is) are both bad people and hate them both. I think the author did that intentionally. I think Ginger is supposed to be someone who was 'evil' but later on redeemed herself by falling in love with the prince and they both helped each other with their issues.
Leagrei, in the novel, falls in love with the prince based on a misunderstanding and therefore does not get that same 'character development' Ginger will get in the future.
I think Ginger getting the fake necklace was a blessing because now she will have to try in order to get the prince's attention and might learn new things because of this.
Tl;Dr: Theory that Ginger won't be a bitch forever.
