It’s really annoying when the mangaka just sticks a side story right in the middle of the main story instead of focusing on the main mcs.. but this.. I have mixed feelings about it.. but I still wish they just got back to the story instead.

Yes, its somewhat annoying, but also look at it from a business standpoint. The author would probably get more money because readers are still waiting for S2. Also this side story might be a mini break for the author. A much deserved break if it is one (and paid as well)
